Likes

Campus life is very average i will say because this college is very strict.
Faculty here is very good they are highly qualified.
Placement due to reccesion is currently affected.

Dislikes

The thing which i hate here is 75% attendence criteria
They also not give noc for doing intership till 3rd year.
This college is also very strict ,if anyone misbehaves they suddenly suspend that guy.

All the Faculty member are highly educated and college staff is very helpful; Here in every semester exam is being conducted in three specific types 1-Sessional 1 2-Sessional 2 3- Pre University Test 4-Infinte no. of class test

Internships Opportunities

If you want to intership in this college from 2nd year itself you have see by yourself as college does not provide any tyoe of intership and also you are not allowed to go out and do internship as thyey do not provide NOC.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here for Btech first year you have to pay 141756 rupees. It is for both semester , If i talk about 4 year degree it would be around 4-5 lakhs. If you also want hostel then it would be around 1 lakh 20 thousand approx.

Campus Life

Campus life is quite good .It is lush green campus situated nearly about 45 aces. The only major drawback is that this college is more Academics based . It has been years to see any fest organised by this college.

HELLO everyone My name is Harsh Vardhan Singh and currently I am doing B-TECH from Ajay Kumar Engineering College,Ghaziabad.This college is affiliated to AKTU Board and it is ranked 2 . I have admitted in this college through UPTAC counselling through Jee Mains . My branch is Electronics and Communication Here in this college you can avail CSE core in90-92 percentile for general category. In this you can also avail fee waiver if you score good percentile somewhere around 95 percentile.I got ECE at 80 percentile . You do not have to search for any application form ,you have to only apply for UPTAC counselling . Here in college you should only come when you really want to study hard as this college is very strict in Academics. You may also have one more issue of ATTENDENCE .This college strictly follows rule of 75% attendence criteria,if you do not abe to fill this criteria then you will not be to sit for the Main University Exam also.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

Lab infrastructure and availability and practical approach
Hygience managed in every block and department
Availability of faculty and easy to approach and contact

Poor management regarding any issue and problem
iCloud app not working properly and full of glitches and bugs
Slow process and management takes a lot of time to do work

Placement Experience:

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

My Engineering College

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Likes

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

Dislikes

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support
The student facilities is not good , like lifts etc

Placement Experience:

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

I liked the professor of college their teaching style and unique approaches

Girls to boys ratio is very less as compared to other colleges
The environment of college is not too good it's okay okay

Expanding campus activities and facilities for overall development

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

i my collage there was a big grounds for different games but the game should we inly during and specific program.

I got thus college through counselling and the top AKTU Affiliated colleges I opted to were JSS, AKGEC, ABES, from which I got ECE branch in AKGEC which I locked in the first round of counselling itself as I was satisfied with the college. 1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I chose this college as in previous times it was doing quite good in placements and but now most of the students are unplaced. Other colleges I've applied to are JSS noida, Galgotias etc are these colleges got a better placement ratio that my college. But campus of other campus are smaller compared to AKGEC. so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
