Likes

I like the helping nature of faculty members.
Lab assistants are good entertainer. Mechanical Lab assistants acan be easily teased.
The college situated on 12 lane Delhi-Meerut expressway which gives impressive connectivity to Delhi as well as a fascinating view.

Dislikes

Classes are not plastered. Lighting system is also poor. Still green board Is used to teach which makes classes outdated.
College doesn't have any hangout space. Canteen is also not that good.
There is no meet up with college authorities. We have to get pass out every semester nothing else.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have 5 subjects per semester. College provide huge books for each subject but students have to rely on notes, one shot videos and quantum series to pass out the exams. Teachers are well disciplined and work hard on students. College is well equipped with Labs. We get a lot of things to learn there.

Class Size: 76Course Fees: INR 141756 per year

Placement Experience

No comments on placement as I didn't received it now. My plan after engineering is to join government service at any of these -Doordarshan, UIDAI, Central Secretariat, Prashar Bharti, DMRC, MTNL, BSNL.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many rewards which a student get if he top UT, PUT, ST and also for 100% attendance. Specially branch topper are provided TIFAC courses free which cost 20k. No comments on scholarship as I don't receive that.

Campus Life

Social life isn't that good here. Students on creamy layer enjoy their high class social life. They have beautiful girlfriend. Upskilled themselves in things like coding, singing, games and so on. While talking about others, they just run behind girls on Sanchi Street , join idiotic clubs like Renaissance, verve, goonj, taal. Instead of speaking english students talk in abusive language here. It would be a wrong place if you think to enhance your personali

Admission

Admission process was not that feasible. AKTU councelling was delayed that year. After admission we had induction programme and TIFAC Tour within initial 3 days. Classes start within 15 days. We had 2 Session Tests and a pre-university exam every semester which automatically engages you to study.

Honest review of KCC college

Placement Experience:

The placement is very bad.mass recruiters like infosys and TCS come to the college . They offer a very low packages like 3 LPA .They also show very high packages for some students which are fake .You cannot expect a good package here .

RECM - Underrated but a great future ahead.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to appear for placement from seventh semester. In Civil Engg Dept 40 students enrolled for campus placement and 28 students were offered jobs till the final semester. L&T Infra, Tata Steel, Prism Cement, ACC Cement are some of the prime recruiters. Highest package offered was 7.5 lpa , lowest 4.2 lpa and median was 5.5 lpa. Profiles offered were Project Associate ,BIM Engineer, Site Supervisor, Area Head (Sales). 70% of students got placed in the first batch of this college from civil engg dept. Currently I am serving as Junior Engineer at DFCCIL (Railways).

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements . Their are many companies visted in our college some of them are Flipkart,Amazone,Infosys,icici and many otber companies . The highest package goes above the 20lacks lpa and average package goes around 5.5lacks lpa 75 percentage of are getting placed last year . My plan after getting the degree to placed in any multinational company as a developer.

Consider if you are preparing for any exam.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is not so active and here you will have to prepare for mostly the off campus placement for high paying packages otherwise the average package is 3LPA which may be not meet your expectations. The highest package from this college is off campus palcement. if you are a hardworker and have proper skills and knowledge you will deifnitely get placed . so my suggestion is that to also enjoy your college life but also be a hardworker and become a job creator.

Overall Review for AKGEC

I chose this college as in previous times it was doing quite good in placements and but now most of the students are unplaced. Other colleges I've applied to are JSS noida, Galgotias etc are these colleges got a better placement ratio that my college. But campus of other campus are smaller compared to AKGEC. so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
