Course Curriculum Overview
I have more intrest in coding and this college is providing best faculty with more placement offers,I chose Computer science and engineering and I will not regret choosing it. The curriculum prepares us very good with respect to real life applications by making us do various projects.The classes are being conducted in more theory based,I hope they improve it to smart classes.The exams will take place two times per semester.i.e., Mid-term and End semester exams.
Internships Opportunities
Microsoft offers internship and many benefits and recently Intel also held an coding competition and declared internship for those have won in the coding. there are many other opportunities and many tasks given but they are worth.
Placement Experience
From 3 rd year ending students are eligible for placements. Wipro, Amazon, Cognizant, Infosys and many other. More than 400 companies visit for the placements. Highest package is 56 lakh and average package is 9.4 lakh. Percentage of different getting placements are 96 %. I am planning to do masters in USA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The 1st scholars fee is around 1,75,000 and 2nd slab is 2,50,000 and 3rd slab is 3,75,000. The complete cost of our education will be around 20 lakhs for 4 years.The tuition fees increases if the student does not maintain 7.5 CGPA.
Campus Life
There will be two main fests for year.Gokul astami in the month of November and Anokha in the month of April.There will be many other tech fests.There is a big library,a 3 floor building.There will be a projector with speakers and hdmi cables to connect to the laptop.There will be many various clubs such as NSS, Coding Clubs ,Singing, Dancing and many.
Hostel Facilities
In the room we are provided with 2 tables, 4 chairs and two fans with a wifi router and 2 storage racks and 4 beds. The food is not that good but healthy food. Registration for hostel is with process of academic fee and it is a easy process.
Admission
Above 650 marks in 12th Board Exams,You can find the application form by searching for amrita website in Google and you can see the display showing that amrita btech admission apply now, application fee is 1200 and application dates will be around in February and March.SC and ST have reservation benefits in getting seat in the college.Difficulty level is medium and exams will be held for 2.5 hours.Hope they make more clear announcement of exam dates and timings.
Interview Experience
There were no group discussion or interview.But there is entrance exams conducted online.I prepared for JEE mains and it helped in amrita exam also.The questions are not too hard.Difficulty level will be medium. You have to get above 650 marks in 12th Board for applying to this university.
