Internships Opportunities

I did a internship in halliburton pune that is oil and gas upstream company. It was the one of the best experience of my life. Many industries are there for internship. Everyone goes for internship at bits as it has a full fledge program of practice school i.e. 6 months internship which institute arrange.

Placement Experience

Its too good. Mostly 100 percent placement of each branch. All big companies came like mckensiy, bain,BCG,Schlumberger, shell etc all offered very good ctc highest was from google around 1.5 crore and average is around 8-9 lpa.

College Events

Oasis is culture festival and ranks 2nd in india. Many colleges participate in it. Technical fest is apooge its a national level symposium and in that mostly all branches have their events and students from other colleges participate in the events.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship and loans are available. At the time of admission itself banks are at the registration counter for giving loans.Many scholarships are available in bits.

Supercool life Gender ratio around 20-30 percent girls rest boys Sports meet BOSM is awesome its must watch event. Extracurricular is there all day through at bits pilani Thats why overall development of student is possible here.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is good and it is the only thing available.Food is good and supplied by sodexo Rate is subsidised 3000 per month for food approx.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

We have a BITSAA meet every year and a dedicated portal for old student association.

An honest review about Fees, Curriculum, Placements and More

Placement Experience:

There were total 11 students in my batch of M.tech AR-VR. From 3rd semter everyone becomes eleigible for the placements. Almost each of the companies related to IT/CS/AI were allowed us to sit for the placements. Almost each of the students who were looking for placements got the opportunity either through campus or non-campus drive. One student got the PhD opportunity. Rest 10 students got some opportunity in different companies on roles like Softawre Development Engineer, Data Scientist, AI Research Engineer, GenAI Engineer, Research Associate etc.

Admission:

I want to study m.tech in structural engineering. So I go through RTU m.tech admission process. After counseling as my preference, I got admission in this college. My preference at the time of counseling was 1st for Yit; because the Yit structural faculty was very famous which i heard at the time of under graduation.

The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . Honest BITS Pilani (Pilani Campus) Review

I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey. The admission process is through the BITSAT exam, an online test includes Physics, Chemistry and Maths and English and Logical Reasoning. There is no reservation policy.
