Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

curriculum is best you will get best of the faculties and TAs. Some professors may not teach or discuss so concernedly but most of the faculties are really supportive and equally helpful. BUt my suggestion would be to make the class as interactive as possible , that's how you will come to the notice of proffesors and would feel more connected to ask any doubt that would arise in your mind during the class .Out of box questions are also appreciated as well in class discussion . But keep in mind not to distract the faculty off their flow in the class.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

You can appear for internships in your 6th semester (B.TECH) that too you must not have any backlog in any of your subjects and with a good cgpa. You must be aware of various interships before applying for them cause faculties would help less regarding that you yourself have to come forward for internships you have to show your own interest.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are decent , many students get place in various companies . You have to maintain a good CGPA throughout your semesters to get a seat in placement . Rest all depends on your hardwork , passion and skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are paid semester wise , The fees of the first semester have to be paid along with the admission fees. The fees would vary depending on various branches. Number of scholarships are available state scholarships , National level merit based scholarships, especially for girl students and may vary according your annual income.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is rich of cultural and academic activities. Every semester is accompanied by a fest. Garden fest is all about foods. Every year you will get oppurtunity to go to other IITs and NITs through clubs.

Admission

The admission process is partially online such as counselling, payment of admission fees, and counselling fees as well. After completing all online works you will be allotted a date for offline admission, for which you have to appear physically on the college premises. All application forms will be available on NIT, Rourkela's official website, you have to keep close track of the announcement section on the main official website.
