- Campus Life-It is too good, helping seniors and positive environments
- Fests- The fests are too good and grand.
- Placements-The placements are good enough, placement cell is too active and there is good coding culture
Dislikes
- Number of classes- There are too many number of classes in first year, from 2nd year the classes are less like 3-4 classes per day.
- Few teachers are quite strict, most of the teachers are supportive but few are strict.
- The timing of classes is not as per our ease.
Course Curriculum Overview
My cource is Btech in Biotechnology and the cource is well designed by the college. Teachers are quite supportive in the aspect of further studiece is concert. Cource is CBCS based and is well designed thus I dont think it need any improvement. Let's talk about exam which is really important....so the cource have 8 semester of 6 month each and each semester have 2 exam one is mid semester exam and the other is end semester exam and both are equally important. One more important thing that each exam includes theory as well as practical.
Internships Opportunities
Internships available from 3rd year. you can also get internship from 2nd year but its quite competitive to get from 2nd year. Companies that provide internship include google, microsoft, amazon, phone pay, paytm etc.
Placement Experience
Placements are good enough. From 7th semester you will be eligible for campus placements. highest package is 1.2cr and average package is of 10lakh per annum. Almost 80-85 % students get placement every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
If we talk about tution fee which is almost same for all central university i.e. ?62500 per semester. there is also some internal fees of about ?8000 per semester including library, internet, medical and examination fees. Yes there is scholorships on category basis, sc/st/pwd candidates get full remission of tution fees and gen/obc candidates with family income less than 1 lakh per annum get remiision on tution fees.
Campus Life
The campus lifr is too good. there are 3 major fest namely aavartan the techfest, samar the sports fest and eclecta the cultural fest. there are many minor fest such as garva night, makar sankranti celebration etc. The sports facility is too good, there is facility of almost all sports in the campus including cricket, hockey, handball, volleyball, badminton, basketball,football, tennis, chess, kabbadi and many more.
Admission
To get admitted in NIT you have to clear JEE Mains examination. The cutoff vary every year and different category have different cutoff range varies from 35 %ile for st to 91 %ile for General category. The JEE Mains exam conducted by NTA occured 2 times a year, oince in January month and another in april month. In both exam you get a %ile result and your overall result will be best of these two. The admission process is quite simple, once you clear the exam then you have to appear for josaa councelling which is of 6 rounds and then you have to appear physically for registration at the college campus.
