Very less restrictions we can go out of the campus as we wish to until 10.30
The recorded classes help a lot during exams where we can revise quickly
Classrooms are all AC equipped helps a lot with the heat

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very much relevant and interdisciplinary as it combines topics from both computer science and communication engineering. The college prepares us very well for the real world by providing regular seminars by big names in the industry and fostering an internship culture.

The college provided internships to student via various companies there are also various student projects that sort of behave like internships to train us for the real world. There are also startup inside the college that provide internships to students exclusively

Placement Experience

The placement cell here is really good the average placement is around 10 lakhs for the college and for CSE related courses is goes upto 18 lakhs average. We are promoted to get internships and the college themselves try to get us placed in the internships at times

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is on the higher side as compared to other colleges but the facilities provided cover up for it. There are many merit based scholarships available aswell. A lot of the part of the fees is refundable and hence is lower than it looks at first glimpse

Campus Life

The campus life is great with many sporting and recreation facilities being provided for free or a minimal charge. There is a wonderful library, huge playing feilds, a badminton court, gym and even a swimming complex. The technology is up to point, all classes and recorded and uploaded on a portal to be accessed by student if class is missed

Hostel Facilities

We are provided with a bed,matress,lots of storage space and a table and chair, the room service cleans our rooms on alternate days and in case of any faults with electronic devices the service is excellent. There is a laundry service that comes to the hostel daily and gives back the clothes the next day itself. The bathrooms are clean with both hot and cold water facility. The mess has great food! The menu changes weekly with different dishes daily

Hostel Fee: INR 105800 per year

Admission

I had given the admission test for the college called MET. I scored about 110 marks out of 180 and got Computer and Communication branch. The cutoff i based on the rank where top 2000 get CSE branches(core and with specializations). The whole process was very smooth and didnt have to come to the college until the final moment to submit the documents. The fees for the counselling rounds is 15000. and there are 3 rounds normally.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say academic wise. There is nothing much happening right now in first year, but then there are many events like hackathons happening where and we can participate and learn a lot even our first year and we have English film and Japanese film, which is basically a whole language club and there are a lot of activities happening such as debate and all, which is obviously helping us gain a lot of public speaking skills and confidence.

Manipal, Student Life You Do Not Want To Miss

I applied for PES and VIT besides manipal and was able to secure a seat in both of them but chose MIT over these colleges because it is more credible and from research provides better packages, courses and options.
