Remarks

College atmosphere was really good and condusive for education we enjoyed every bit of our life in college still we feel nostalgic about college.

Entrance Preview

Common Entrance test(CET) I was intesrested in pursuing my course in Electrical.UVCE was famous during that time.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course was really interesting faculty helped in teaching difficult concepts and problem solving.

Internships Opportunities

We did not have internships that time.

Placement Experience

Placements were available to generallky top 10 people, L&T, ABB, cutler hammer were the leaders in placements.

"SAMPADA " is the college magazine we used to contribute to the magazine we used to participate in dramas in college festival.

Campus Life

Campus life was really enjoying with friends ladies and gents were almost equal all the students were of middle class background, hence there was no splashing of money we could not think of any relegious, gender isuues since syllabus was heavy.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel was average rooms were sharing basis we three people used to stay in each room PG was not popular during that time.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

We have made a network of our classmate we are connected to each other through Yahoo group and whats up thanks to technology.

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

"BIET Davanagere: A Hub of Opportunities with Room for Improvement"

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

I had applied to the UVCE for civil engineering branch first option and first round I got BIT college i don't have interest to go to that college because of high fees . So I waited for UVCE college because of its professors and it's name and famous earlier and it's a first engineering college in the Karnataka and it's 5th engineering college in the india because of its history i have choose this college . Students need to rank below 5000 in KCET exam to get ISE and CSE branch and 10000 for ECE and EEE branch and 20000 for Civil and Mech branch .
