Course Curriculum Overview

I chosen this course as it intersets me . I would like to work in Cyber security field. The main focus is on Internet of things if you are interested in automation and networking then you will love this course. There are 68 students in my class. For each sem you have 6-7 subjects . Some are for theory and other subjects for practicles only. Most of the faculties are Phd. Teaching is good but you need to read books. College have one in-semister exam and end-semister exam. Both are conducted by college as its a autonomous checking is done by college teachers, so results are declared on time.

We can access elibrary also where we can read books, previous year papers and magzines , Which i think is good thing. There are several clubs in college like MESA , GDSC , Cybercell, Geeks for geeks and many more . You can join these clubs and explore new things . Classrooms are well designed, equiped with projectors . Sports is not that much good . college ground is small .

Admission

I got addmission in college through CET exam , I scored 97 percentile in CET. If you have 90+ percentile in CET or JEE you can enroll in this college. Eligibility: For my course which is CSE IoT you should score minimum 95 percentile, Then you can get seat in CAP round. If you are in open category then you should have atleast 96+ percentile. My friend got 97.8 for TFWS category . Admission Process: 1. Cap round 2. Spot or Management round Cap round : I got seat through cap round 2 , which was be carried out by Gov of Maharastra . If you get seat through CAP round then you can get all reservation benifits like 50% fees off. Spot round : This round is conducted after all CAP rounds are over . In this the seats which are not filled are shown . Its very good opportunity for those who havent got any seat. In this round cutoff is very less maybe 90+ . But you will not be eligible for any type of scholerships. Overall process is simple and fast.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.
