Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I really like maths very much. I am in love with maths. In our college in 1st year, there are about 1000 students and there is an uncountable number of faculties. So the student is to faculty ratio is great. The faculties are well qualified with post-doctoral degrees from abroad and many very good University Term exams are about 2 months each and one can pass the exam if he studies sincerely.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are very good. Students get internships from the 3rd semester. Companies like Microsoft and Google hire students for internships. Most projects are based on coding and web development also there are projects from the mathematics department.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies visited are Microsoft, Google , TCS , Infosis , Amazon , Accenture. Students got highest package of 1 CR per year . Average package is 14 lakhs per annum . Mostly highest packages is from the companies from Microsoft and Google . At an average 95.7 percentage of students get placements from here. After getting the degree I think I will prepare for UPSE .
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure per semester is 33000 and there is a fees waiver for the students having sc or sc quota. Students have many opportunities to get scholarships . And there is always on campus jobs every year. Many high companies come to get students and students get a highest package of 1 crore per year.
Campus Life
There are 2 main annual fests . One is innovision and the another is NITRUTSAV. Innovision is the tech fest of NITR. And Nitrutsav is the cultural fest of NITR. beside this there is also many other fests in a year . There is big central Library having a seat capacity of 2000 students and have a large number of books . There is scope for sports lover having indoor stadium and outdoor stadiums . Also there is interNIT competitions. There is a total of 74 clubs having many different works and Student Activity centre for arranging all this .
Hostel Facilities
In the 1st year in a room 2 students can live . There is 2 beds and 2 chairs and 2 tables. There is a big shelf for keep books for the students . In the hostel there is mess and there is a nice fooding facility. At the time of admission hostel will be allotted and food is available there . No I live in the hostel inside the campus .
Admission
Admission process is very good . I got a percentile of 95 and entered to the college thorough josaa councelling. Also there is another councelling after josaa that is CSAB. I belongs to general category so I have no reservations at all. One can fill the form of josaa in the josaa official website after qualifying the JEE exam . Very improvised system of councelling. No need for any improvement.
