ampus atmospher is very good as it is sometimes rainy and sometimes it is a cool weather. Amphitheatre is one of my favorite place which gives a pleasant feeling to the people whoever spebds time at there.
The campus looks very beautiful with tress and roaming around the campus is very nice.oat is anthoer place where many people go and discuss about studies and all .it is helpul for conducting events as it is very spacious.
Creative zone is aplace where people expresses their new ideas and also spends time with friends .some clubs conducts events at there and have fun . basketball court is place where i go to play and have some relief from my stress.

Dislikes

Rajpath is a place where crow shit happens in our campus . crow shit is very common in our campus it was very disgusting . whenever we go to the campus atleast one person will have to face the crowshit .
infrastruce of the campus is good some parts of our campus are very old like they look very old and sometimes it looks like the walls of those building may fall down.remaining everything was ok for us.
those are the only things which i didnt like in our campus remaining everything is ok with us. in fact our campus infrastruce is good and because of the long tress and the garden area campus looks very beautiful

I have applied for cse and ece courses but according to my JEE rank i have got selected for ece course.tFaculties teaching was good and everyone lecturer tries to make the student get everying clearly and the exam pattern is somewhat difficult but it can be managable.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

fee structure of college is for even seems i have to pay 2000/- and for odd semester I have to pay 1450/-.for hostel it will be nearly 55k per a year.I have applied for NSP scholarship which helps me in paying my semester and hostel fees.

Campus Life

We have two fests in our college one is Technical fest(TATHVA) and other is Cultural fest(RAGAM).Tathva is conducted in the month of august and Ragam is conducted in the nomth of march.We were having a central library which contains a lots of books in it including some biographys etc.Amenities in calssrooms are maintained in aproper manner and classroom atmosphere is very peaceful.There are many clubs and committees which are maintained by the students in our college ex:DND(dance and dramatics), adventure club, club mathematica club etc.Many students included in sports like kabbadi, handball, athletics , indoor games .

Admission

We had an entrance exam that is JEE MAINS, for that I have regestered through an offical website ,exam have been conducted through online mode in 4 attemps .I have qualified for the exam in second attempt .Cutoff for the jee mains is 40% .I have applied for various NIT's and i have got selected for NIT Calicut ECE.

According to JEE rank ihave got selected in NIT calicut ECE .When i tried for NIT Warangal ECE my rank have not enough to opt for that college.so i didnt opt for that college.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college. Accordind to NIRF rankings this is the top 27 Engineering college in India and top 3rd NIT. Admission process is only through JEE Mains Exam. You need very good percentile to join this college. Nit Calicut very good placements too....Read More
