All about NIT CALICUT

This course is good and i chose this course because it was in my interest. Faculty: student ratio of good like 1:40. Qualification of faculties are high level, entry faculty here has a phd degree from reputed colleges like IITS. we have a semester for almost 4 months. There will be to exams one is mid term and end term. Mid term will be taken when half of the syllabus of finished and at last end term the whole syllabus. To get pass it's not that difficult if you focus on classes. To top the exams you have focus on classes and everyday you have to study.

Many companies like Goldman Sachs, DE Shaw etc companies with internship offers. They also provide very good amount of stipend. For students who are going to give interview for internships they have to make few projects and add in their resumes.

From 7th semester students can be eligible for placements. Many companies visited and many offers were made. Almost above 90% students were placed. Highest package was 67 LPA and average is 20 LPA. My plan after getting a degree is if i get the good package i will accept it. Else will go for higher studies.

Cost to study is little high. I have a scholarship provided by reliance foundation. It helps me a lot in paying my fees. People without any scholarship have to pay all the fees. Fees have increased compared to last year.

Annual fest is RAGAM and tech fest is TATHVA. RAGAM is conducted in March. TATHVA is conducted in October. All kinds of books are available in our central library of the college. Every classroom has a projector and the screen. Sports and extracurricular activities gets the equal preferences as academics. Clubs such as GDSC, IPF, MUSIC, DND, etc are run by students to students.

In room there's a fan , a mirror, a cupboard, a bed, a table and a chair, a tubelight and a lamp light. Meal provided in the mess is good and healthy to eat. Hostel of affordable but it's somewhat expensive.

Decent rank in jee mains according to the cutoff of this course. For finding the application form, application fees and application dates go to the official sites of it. Reservation plays an important role , if you have a reservation your chances of getting selected will increase. Everything is well prepared at the admission process.
