Diversity of the university is remarkable you can study and enjoy with people from different parts of india.

Dislikes

The college is very strict to make you a good sailor but initially you don't like it but eventually you figure it out.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very professional. Well respected job. The faculties are qualified in their respective subjects. Marine-related subjects are taken by marine engineers and captains who are sailing for past few years.Term exams are easy everyone can pass

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is quietly high because,many courses are needed to complete this course.Most of the courses are included in term fees.Scholarships are also provided by Goverment of Kerala and IMO.Banks are also providing loan,you can apply for a scheme which is no interest for your cost period.

Campus Life

Programmes are not conducted very often.But the programmes conducted by University are quite good.The college has its own library.Tge sports clubs are active and you can also have a chance to play for University if your are good enough

Admission

Anyone who is 12th pass can join this course, the only condition is to complete 12th in PCM with 65 percentage marks, The application form is available on the IMU website. Reservation is available for OBC and SC candidates

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.
