Here the course faculty is such that they will teach us how to learn ourselves by reading various books. I'm Interested in circuits and coding, so I chose this course. The teaching staff will always be available for every 30 students. There will be one mid semester exam and one end semester exam followed by quizes for every subject including projects and lab project works.

The fee structure is better than private colleges as it is government institute. Scholarship is also available for students here according to the eligibility like salary per anum, and caste too. Availability of scholarship are reliance, crec trust scholarship etc.

Life here is beyond our expectations. There are cultural fests and technical events which we can learn many things other than academics because we'll be handling the events forming different commities according to the work we can handle. Ragam is conducted in March generally and tathva is in November generally. There is library in which all the books we want will be available almost including all genre. There will be inter department sports and inter nits sports too.

Hostel facilities are provided in such a way that cupboards, cart, reading table neat and clean too. Food is really good and we'll be having a choice to choose the menu and also mess too. They can even consider our opinion regarding change of menu. Booking hostel room will be done in online process itself and there will be an online app in use of this one. It includes everything regarding mess fee, hostel fee, menu, mess selection etc.

Admission is through jee mains exam which is conducted all over India. According to our rank in jee mains exam, there will be a cut off rank for every course, in electronics and communication engineering course the cut off rank in national institute of technology Calicut is 12000. And the rank I got is below 12000. We should prioritise the order of colleges with respective courses in that colleges in the order we are willing to join. There will be 5 rounds to get into nits or iits, depending on the rank we got and cutoff in different courses and different colleges, for every round we'll get the result according to our prioritised list of colleges we entered and we can change the order for once before the rounds start.
