Remarks

This college is best if because of its autonomous status. And I would recommend this college in mumbai.

Entrance Preview

I gave jee as well as cet. I scored low in both of them, I entered through vacancy round 2. With a score of 83 in cet

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is I feel better than other engineering colleges. It is much more practical and much more focused on particular stuff. You can easily study on your own and pass out eith some efforts. Course isnt that diffcilut and is based on various books thats a drawback as compared to MU also it has many chapters which other colleges dont have

Internships Opportunities

Yes it does provide internship infact its recruitment is almost 100%. And I feel its average replacemeny payscale is 4.75 lac package per annum

Placement Experience

4

They gave many companies coming to the campus. Microsoft, Facebook, TCS, Infosys, LnT, etc are few companies coming to our campus average placement package is 4.75 lacs per annum and it provides 100% recruitment. Once done with BTech we don't need to worry about a job if passed out from kjsce. So be free

College Events

5

There are different festivals held in our college for cultural, sports and technology purpose. We also have one intra college fest called shield. Which is the fight between 5 branches of college. Symphony is cultural festival of kjsce. Skream is sports festival held for 5 days. And then abhiyantriki is technological fest held for 2 days in kjsce

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes feed is a bit expensive of this college in all it took 187k rupees. And its tution fee id 125k approx. but its library feature helps save money. Also it helps us to study on our own. I dont feel we require external coaching classes after sitting for enough lectures . But due yo its pattern of studeis and placements I feel fees is worth it as it is autonomous as well. But it can still be decreased to some extent or some extra features can be added like ac facility throughout the collegez

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes many scholarships are available. For ebc, for linguistic and religion minorities as wellz which are directly linked with dte website. After admission process and once college begins. Institute themselves helps through the process of scholarships

Campus Life

4.5

For cultural activities, for sports life, for infrastructure, this college is the best in Mumbai apart from IIT Bombay. Also, it's a college wherein you’ll find many nti’d and it has mostly gujju crowd. Myself being a gujju, I personally enjoy a lot. Nobody over here compared or isolated anyone on any basis of religion or race or gender. There is equAlity in and around the campus.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

It is pretty good and also messes food is available for hostel students at nominal rates of 50 for dinner/lunch and 30 for breakfast/evening snacks. There are two hostels in the campus. Both offer the different standard of living as well as amenities. And both have got different sections for boys and girls. They offer wifi as well to the students and also food is quite tasty. We non-hostelites visit mess many times

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors arr very friendly and also staff is cooperative. Also seniors helped alot during starting days. As the campus id very huge, we needed their help alot and they always helped us.

Exam Structure

Labs are many in this college. It has two internal exams and one-semester exam. It takes 40 marks for internal exams and 100 for semester exams. It has more transparency in checking and it also shows papers once results are out. It has got enough faculty and functioning labs which are quite huge and airy. There is no scarcity of resources in this college

Admission

I got admission through vacancy round held aftrr 3 cap rounds. Process was very well conducted by this institute. And they provide it only on merit basis. And for vacancy round online forms are to be filled. The dates for the same are provided on the official website of college. They later provide with merit number and in basis of this merit number they conduct vacancy round. Yes the day on which this process happens is a very long day and usually delays happen. Buy they got to complete it before certain time as after that dte doesnt allow cancellation through website. Cancellation process for vacancy round is a bit tedious as the college from which u are cancelling makes u wait alot and brings trouble

Faculty

4

The faculty is also quite good and is always willing to help. They always are there for the students in and out of the college. We can officially contact them anytime using out email id’s provided by colleges. They also help to share notes and other related links. Faculty takes extra efforts and more support to students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
