Course curriculum is good and provide good study material for students.Faculty is very supportive and friendly mind set. Faculty student ratio is unexpected. All the faculty members have master degree and PhD degree. There are Four internal exams and 2 semester exam which is mid sem and end sem.

From 6th semester students have chance to get placement in our college. Scholar sprout,muthoot finance, reliance,kowair etc company visited here . Highest package is Last year with 35 lakh. Average package is 6 lakh per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is affordable. No scholarship by college. Bihar student credit card scheme is available here for cse students. Which is very good for the students. And you also applicable for Vidya Lakshmi scheme.

Campus Life

Annual fest celebrate per year in the month of May or July. Cyber verse and EDC program and many more tech fest . Big Central library and many books are there. Sports opportunities are good and big ground . Basket ball court badminton court football ground.

2 seater room with attached bathroom and common bathroom. Foods are good in mess . 30000 for per semester Many pg and rooms are available in near locality. Pg and rooms for rent is affordable. Hostel food is good and change per month

Eligibility of the course is through counselling or management quota. Through wbjee counseling to get the admission in this college and jee mains also Reservation benefits is good for many students and for those student score low in jee.

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements. A few companies which visit the college are TCS, WIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA, INFOSYS, IBM, COGNIZANT, HUL, HCL, INDIAN OIL, MITSUBSHI, NJ INDIA, D-POWER,ETC. all the companies offer placement. highest on-campus package = inr 33 lakh where as the average is around 6lpa. BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves.
