Based on my intrest I choose CSE. The college is affliated to JNTUH, so the curriculum is perfectly balanced. The faculty is friendly and approchable. The faculty: student ratio is 1:10. There are many professors who has doctorate. The college follows the regulation suggested by jntu

There are various companies which offer internships for this college. The roles vary based on course. For CSE the roles like software engineer will be offered. The college gives support to do projects based on intrests.

Placement Experience

In this students can apply for campus placement from 3rd year. There are many companies which are interested to recruit from this college. The average package it offers is about 8LPA. Mostly 90% of students get placed by the end of the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is flexible. We can pay in part wise. The fee decided at start of the year by government. There will be no hike later on. There is assistance for scholarship. Campus Life

Mostly the fests are conducted during last quarter and first quarter. There are different clubs like photography, arts, and cultural club which organizes the events. The classrooms are completely digitalized. The college gives lot of importance to sports. There are separate grounds allocated for football, basketball , cricket. And an indoor stadium for various games. Clutural club, media club , photography club.

Admission

To join the college we need to write TSEAMCET exam. Because of my reservation the cutoff went till 13000. To secure the we submitted some required documents to college. The cutoff varies based on the course. The above mentioned cutoff is for cse

The curriculum is not the best i would say There are many flaws in it Although the say the syllabus keeps changing but the changes are not that much The teaching method is also old school methods U can expect an exam every 1.5 months The difficulty is also high

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.

I have got an eamcet rank of 12863. So I applied for top 10 campuses in telangana such as JNTU-H campus, VNRVJIT, GRRR, Vasavi, CBIT,etc.... I have applied only cse and allied branches of cse and I have applied for BVRIT since it is very close to my hometown. Many of my neighbours had studied in Bvrit and now are working for top mnc's. Based on my rank I got CSE(AI&ML) in BVRIT. If i had got a better rank than this, then i would have secured a seat in top 5 campuses. The admission process is very simple. You have to bring certificates and after going to college for counselling you will be given a student coordinator for your admission process.
