Journey at IMI

Course curriculum includes not just the theoretical concepts but also the practical usage of those concepts through case discussions and analysis. There is a case based pedagogy that is followed here at IMI which lets us look at problems from a business perspective. It further hones our critical thinking and business acumen. The intellectual capital i.e. the faculty of imi is something that we really boast about. Apart from being renowned and the experts of their fields, our faculty make learning engaging and interesting with their practical and case based approach.

Tuition fees for our batch is around 19.25 lakhs which is exclusive of stay and food charges. There is however a financial assistance provided by the college to some EWS students under which their fees gets relaxed.

Life at campus is vibrant and happening. Though we have a small campus but there is something or the other going on every day in it. Be it Kritva or annual fest or festive celebrations or even the India Pakistan match, the entire college comes together and celebrate. Facilities are modern and sufficient. The library has almost all genres of books academic and non academic. Classrooms are equipped with modern infra along with the advanced audio video systems. We have a basketball court and a sports room where we play Table tennis or Snooker. Campus also has a gym which recently got renovated. Imi is a student driven college with most activities happening with the support and initiatives of the students. And hence to undertake these initiatives we have Committees, Clubs and Societies of various types which a student can join as per his or her preference.

The shortlist was based on profile. I was shortlisted based on the CAT percentile along with my past academic record. The cutoff varies every year based on the registrations and profiles received. After the shortlist I sat for an interview which also included an extempore and converted IMI. There is no reservation.
