Remarks

The course curriculum is in accordance with the current trends in the industry also the professors at IMI were industry stalwarts with years of experience. A good place for knowledge enrichment. Guest lectures give us current knowledge of industry.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum, Academics, Faculties all are on point as IMI has a great image in business school and they have maintained it since the year of inception Personally, I am really happy with the curriculum and the faculty members who teach here. They are really knowledgeable. Most of them are experienced and hence have an edge over others. They teach us theory along with the practical examples to understand better. Also they arrange some guest lectures to give us current knowledge of industry.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are average in our college. Profiles and CV matter a lot for shortlisting.

Placement Experience

Placements & job opportunities are the major factors why I took admission in IMI. Almost 85% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary package offered ranges between 11-12 LPA. Mainly finance and marketing roles are offered to the students. Not so good companies visit our college for placements with operations roles. Companies are starting to visit our college with analytics roles.

College Events

The campus life is everything one wants in an MBA life. The fests are all arranged by students. Major events organised in our college include Conventus and Kritva. There are also lot of events taking place from time to time in college and it is a fun place to be.

Campus Life

Our entire college premises are Wi-Fi enabled. There are full-fledged computer labs, and classrooms and computer lab have mics and projectors. A lot of sports are played by students, and various tournaments are conducted round the year.

Placement Experience:

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Curriculum is highly Economics focused hence the name Business Economics. Its a plus point for people coming from Economics background however others struggle a bit. All in all one needs to study really hard.

Placement Experience:

Till the time of writing, I am in 3rd month of my 5 month last semester and in my class about 60% of my batch is placed. You have to submit a student body fee of 40000 a year to be eligible for taking placements as this help out in having events organized outside the college. As there is no placement cell provided by DU, our student body is mostly run by students. Currently highest package offered was about 27 lpa and roles that have come are management trainee, Junior Data scientist, risk analyst etc.

Placement Experience:

The university provide both the internship and placements opportunities to the students. For summer internships the companies start visiting the campus after 4-5 months from joining the college and everyone is eligible for that. The 2 month summer internship is mandatory for every student. And for final placements companies visits in the last semester of the course. The highest package for MBA is 23 lakhs and average package is approx 7-8 lakhs. The placements rate is approx 70-80% In terms of ROI college is good.
