Life at BCET

I chose this course as I saw the opportunities I could grab in the coming future and the interest in the field. The faculty to student ratio is 1:60 and boy to girl ratio is 4:1. The faculty here inherits up to the mark qualification and are phd holders in their fields. The term exams are held every six months and internal exams are held in between the semesters and are easy to pass if studied thoroughly.

The companies which provide internship are tcs, wipro, capgemini, tech mahindra, amazon etc. The roles offered are junior developer and apprenticeship under skilled members. The projects made are quadcopter and the beast cancer detector etc

The students here are eligible for campus placements from 6th semester. The companies visited here are tcs, wipro, capgemini, tech mahindra, Amazon and many more.. The highest package goes up to 12 lakhs and the average package is 4 lakhs. 80% of the students get placed during placement.

The total fees four year is three lakh seventy thousand three hundred. The opportunity of scholarship is good but if you only belong to west bengal. If you have a resident certificate of west bengal you are able to avail scholarship. You can get jobs based on your qualifications and skills from campus placements in the college which includes companies like tcs, wipro ,capgemini ,Amazon and many more... The internship opportunities are given here with stipend upto 12000.

There are many fests conducted over the year and the celebration of festivals and tech fests such as hackathons, codevita, etc. There are variety of books available in the central Library of the college as per requirement . Sports clubs like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, kho-kho are the clubs available for the students to participate in.

The hostel facility provides a decent environment. The rooms are provided with bedding, study table and an almirah. The food provided is quite decent as per the fees. You get 3 meals a day with snacks included.

The admission process includes councelling through exams like WBJEE and JEE MAINS. You can find the applications of these exams through the exam sites and the application dates may vary based on the details given on the website. The cut off for getting admission in computer science and engineering for WBJEE is 40000 and for JEE MAINS is 80 percentile.
