Eligibility for Msc Mathematics was 60% in graduation with mathematics as a subject. Admission in MCM for Msc Mathematics was based on the percentage/CGPA in the graduation course. Application form was available on the official website of MCM DAV College.

I chose Msc Mathematics because I want to pursue a career in it. There are 40 students and 5 faculty members teaching per semester. Faculty members are highly qualified with BSc, Msc and Phd from reputed colleges like Punjab university and IIT Delhi.

Class Size: 18Course Fees: INR 33000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Some internships and placements was offered for management positions for undergraduate courses but was also open for us. Companies vist our college and select students based on their academic record and performance in interview.

Placement Experience

I am Msc math first year student and have not experienced the placemnt process yet. There were some placement opportunities for management positions open for undergraduate students which were also open for us.

Fees and Financial Aid

Course Fees is 33000 per yr for MSc Mathematics and varies from couse to course. some scholarships were provided for students who require fee benefits. Some scholarshps were also provided for general students based on merit.

Campus Life

College fest like Meraki is conducted in February, Diwali fest around diwali with damce and singing performances and food stalls and art stalls. Book are available for courses in the library. Games like hockey, basketball, rock climbing are available.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel are available with ac and non ac rooms. I opted for non ac room with Rs119000 per yr. Hostel is not worth the money but the only benefit is it saves time to go to classes and we don't have to worry about food.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience:

In the beginning of semester you will be asked to join training and placement center . The placements are not that much but yes placements are given . It depends your performance throughout the course . Belonging to MSc physics the placements will be made in the last sem and when and only if you qualify the sem exam you'll be able to join . But according to personal opinion that msc physics won't get that good package and you can get better from government jobs .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took admission in this course after i saw it has benefits for pharmacy field and all the apparatus and instruments in the labs are helpful for further experience in the pharmacy field. Improvements can be made by decreasing some politics.
