This is a skilled-based course and professional jobs are provided like to be a journalist, video editor, photojournalist, and in the field of advertising and public relations. Due to less awareness about this course in the urban areas very less students choose this type of course, but this is a vocational course that gives you help in searching job and it is also valid as a bachelor's degree. You can continue your study further in PG after this course. Sometimes students get confused as to whether they have to do another course also for complete their bachelor's degree course. So you don't need it. Teachers are very professional and talented provided. They are experienced in teaching and also they have worked in the field of journalism or production etc. To complete this course you have to pass a semester exam and before every semester an internal exam will be held. It is very easy to pass the semester exam because questions will be mostly practically asked.

Fees and Financial Aid

If we talk about the fee structure then you have to pay nine thousand per semester as a tution fee and for a semester exam, you have to pay around 1500. Other than this fee you have nothing to pay. If you belong to the ST, SC, and OBC caste then you can apply for the Ekalyan scholarship and you get 100 percent amount of your fee.

Campus Life

There is no dedicated annual fest but by the request or help of all together can be organized any fest. The library is very good but no dedicated book is available for journalism. For practical work camera, studio, computer, and other basic substances are available. You can join NSS or NCC in this college also with this degree course. There are many alumni run their personal or business websites nowadays and all alumni are in contact with others by social media they always help you during your course and in job also after course.

Admission

Eligibility - A 12th pass from any subject or any parallel course is also considered a diploma etc. A minimum mark of 50 percent is required and in English also should be 50 marks in 100 full marks. As there is many different Big companies for placements like TCS Tata consultancy services, Wipro, CEAT, Jagran, etc. There are around 50 + companies for each courses. For sitting in the placements you have to pass in every subject of each semester. Around 80% of student get campus placement. If the course duration is three years i.e. 6 semesters, then the college placement team gives an internship opportunity in the fifth semester with various companies and organizations. Very few companies have visited to date as the university is not very much experienced in terms of growth. In short, placements are not that much up to the mark. After getting the degree, most of the students opt for higher studies or work in startups in very small packages.
