Likes

The campus environment I liked most. And WiFi of the campus.
The faculties are so helpful and supportive and they always tries to improve our knowledge.
The annual fest is so awesome no hidden money charge by the college and they give us full enjoyment

Dislikes

Syllabus is so big and they always force us to come college everyday
The principal visits very few time in our department
Some students always smoke out side of the campus

Course Curriculum Overview

This course will definately improve my future as I guessed and all the faculties are so good so approaching to us and they are well qualified. In every month the university take exam and the exam is little bit hard and if you learner properly you can qualify.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 1500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Some government sectors also offered internship and they do not give stipend and some companies like TCS they give good amount of stipend. In our college we try to make AI based project everytime. And overall is good.

Placement Experience

3.5

From 7th semester students are eligible for placement. There are so many companies come and hire us those are ACC and pinacle and TCS and Capgimini etc. 80 percent of students for placement in previous year. My plan after degree is get the job offer by the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is little bit higher in increases in every year approximately 4 lakh for lateral students and 8 lakh for regul as r students. All scholarships are available and college approved scholarship so fast and so nicely. Aikyashree and SVMCM is available.

Campus Life

In the month of February the college hosts annual fest and all books are available in library class rooms are well furnished and in the month of March the annual sports are organised by the college. Many clubs are there in our college like club of fine arts etc.

Admission

The admission process is good no improvement is needed anybody belongs to the science stream can be admitted to our college after 12th. the application form is available on the college website and you can take admission through wbjee and jee main. some seats are reserved for lower caste communities.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
