i choose computer science because i personally like coding and the package of this field is excellent in bits faculty student ratio is 40:1 that is very good it is a highly qualified faculty in bits pilani every teacher is a phd graduate in their fields exams are almost every week in bits and there is a tough competition in this college among students

bits offer great internship opportunities it basically depends on your cg how well u r performing in academics cg above 8 will give you a great stipend approx 1 lakh per month and that is the least you can expect

bits offer great placement opportunities almost every company visits our campus like in my branch cse the average package is 30 lakhs and the median is 25lakhs the highest go upto 1.3 year student are eligible for placement in the 3rd year itself

there is a 10% fee hike almost evey year in bits the current fee package is 6 lakhs annually bits provide various scholarships to the needy like mcn(merit cum need) only you have to maintain 6 cg and an annual income of less than 8 lakhs

there are 3 fests in bits annually sports fest is BOSM cultural fest is OAsis tech fest is Apogee there is a complete insane vibe in the campus and we really enjoy a lot bits has a very happening college life

the rooms provided by bits are very spacious initially you get a double room in 1st and 2nd year single room from 3rd year onwards hostel is compulsory for everyone in bits pilano meal quality is decent the breakfast is often very tasty

you should score at least 75% in pcm in class 12 boards the application is available on the bits website no reservations in this college the admission process was smooth every information was declared well within time

Placement Experience:

In our college the students are elgible to sit in campus placement from third year , there comes a lot of companies in our college which comes here for placement drive and some for providing internship .Some of the companies that comes in our college are L&T, Deloitte , Capegemini, Reliance , TCS , TCE, Wipro, Infosys, miniorange, Berger paints ,Amazon etc . The highest package from this college is of 44 LPA which was from CSE branch and given by Amazon and the average package ranges around 6.5 LPA for almost every branch . Every year almost 80 percent of students get placed around here and some of them leaves placement for further studies and also some took admission in many premier institutes for getting higher education.

From fourth year the students become eligible for campus placements And before that you have to go for outside placements by students himself only companies visited like Microsoft Zomato and all no Google and number of companies are not very good only mass recruiters are there like three L package tcs and old highest package is around 53 lakhs by Microsoft last year in 2023 and 4 academic year percentage of getting placements is like around you can say out of 100 4040 will get placement Every package is around 5 according to the chorus but I know it is around 3 lpa In reality I am pre paying for gate exam right now let us see what happened

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey.
