The course is good as tourism course provides both the opportunities to apply for core and tourism role. It has the upper hand in tourism course as it's the only college in India which is affiliated to various tourism counsil in Asia.

Companies such as Earnest Young, DE Shaw, Infosys, Cognizant are coming in campus. There are other tourism companies such as makemytrip, Indigo, TravelBuzz etc coming to the campus. Highest placement offered previous year was 64 lpa.

The placement is improving every year in IIM Sirmaur. The core students can sit for both tourism and core companies and same is with tourism students, unless companies restricts the students. There is a 100% placement record in IIM Sirmaur.

The fee is above par as the course is very new. The fee for the course stands at INR 1600000. Last year the fee was 1400000 and before that it was 1200000. There are multiple scholarship provided by GOI and other organisations.

Life at campus is very hectic. It teaches about responsibility and punctuality. Siara is the annual fest of IIM Sirmaur which is usually held in January. Books are provided by the institute. There are various sport events like cricket, football, badminton, basketball which takes place throughout the year.

The hostel facility is good. Students get to stay in 2 person sharing basis. As the hostel is new and temporary hence students needs to share the room. Washing machine, water dispensers, heaters are provided.

Yes. The first stage was group discussion, followed by Personal Interview. The topic was mostly on current affairs of 2022. They also see if the students have prior experience relevant for the program. Other domain experience are also welcomed.
