MIT experience of an amateur

The course curriculum is very student friendly and related to the industry demand. And the faculty members are very helpful.Faculty members are dedicated and knowledgeable, providing a robust learning environment. The course curriculum is well-structured, covering relevant topics and fostering comprehensive understanding.

Fees structure is a bit expensive but also worth it in many ways like the amount of leisure activities and infrastructure provided. There are a few scholarship schemes provided by the college but I'm not aware of any because I'm already a beneficiary of a government scholarship scheme. The financial department is very helpful and understanding, incase there is a delay in payments.

Campus is full of things to do and see. it's been 6 months in the campus and still I haven't seen the whole of it. Few buildings are a spectacle in itself. Sports facilities are also good with a huge ground that covers almost all sports. There's a paid multi sport facility MARENA. Perm time is a headache for all ( 10.30 ). There are negative sides as well including dugs ,smoking and drinking. Friendly place for couples as we can see. There are 200+ clubs with many internationals as well

Hostels are well organised with ac as well as non AC rooms. We have to opt for the rooms we want. rooms are decently furnished. There's an almirah, a chair , a table, bed, bucket, mug and proper lights and fan. Hostel registration is online.

My admission into MIT is through government scholarship scheme PMSSS for J and K students. I registered for PMSSS in July 2023 and fulfilled all eligibilities for the same. I've got complete relaxation on the academic fees. Also I'll get 1 lakh per annum for hostel and mess fees.
