Life at imi

I chose mba to scale up corporate ladder. One faculty for 60 students were there. Teachers are all doctorates and well qualified and mostly follow case based teaching. Term exams are timely and good to test the knowledge.

Good internship opportunities were available from verticals like marketing product management and finance. Notable companies were present that can be checked from placement report published on website. Projects included real life issues faced by companies and reports and presentation were made on the same

Placements are good on campus. Average ctc was last year 17.5 lacs. More than 150 companies visit with notable names mentioned in the placement report as well published on the website. 100 percent placements are achieved with good help

Fees is comparable to other mba colleges and scholarships for lesser able children are available. Merit based scholarships are not available as far as I know. Jobs were available with an averge package of 17.5 lacs and were offered across functions

Life at imi is fun. There are 10 academic and 5 non academic clubs and committees. There are several societies as well. Books are provided by college. Class is equipped with screens and ac. Volleyball court is there on campus. Kritva is cultural fest and conventus is the annual management conclave.

The admission process involved filling application on website and rest was communicated through email. interview process involved a PI in which i was asked questions about current affairs, some finance and basic hr questions. A topic on metaverse was given as an extempore.

Gd was not there. Straight PI was conducted and current affairs was discussed. Metaverse was given as a topic for extempore. Hr questions about why mba and why imi was asked. Profile based shortlist was done and cat scores above 80 percentile were there in our batch although it was not a cutoff.
