BIT MESRA: The eastern jewel

I have interest in mechanical engineering and automobile engineering so I have chosen this course. Course curriculum is very good and faculty members are also very supportive. There is 1:5 faculty to student ratio. Term exams were on time and if study properly then it is easy to score good marks

Multiple paid and unpaid internship opportunities are available in the college. Paid are available from the very beginning to all background students. Whereas, unpaid internships require some prior experience and knowledge about the same .

The placement of the college is very good . There is a separate placement cell in the college which provides the placement availability for the students. Students become eligible from the seventh semester for placement. Very large amount of companies visited the college. The highest package is 84.2 lacs and minimum is 6 lacs. 80 percent of students get placed. My plan is to go for higher studies in mechanical engineering also the college is very recognised for higher education in foreign country also.

Fees structure is very affordable for students and also loans and merit based scholarship are available for students.there is very less fees hike in the course as it was for laptop provided by the college to each students . As I am in first year I have explored the placement availability.

Life at campus is very good . As it has a very lush green campus. There are many fests in our college the technical fest is known as pantheon and it is conducted in the month of November. It has very good events for tech enthusiasts. And the biggest cultural event BITOTSAV in month of March. It includes all types of cultural events as mime , dance , acts , band , singing, etc. Our college has asias one of the biggest library. Including thousands of virtual books also. It has the top most facilities for sports and extracurricular activities. There are also enormous amount of clubs and groups for every intrested student including cultural clubs and technical clubs, sports teams and many other.

Every type of facilities available in the hostel room. There is no cut in electricity and water. But the meal quality is not very good. But you can sustain your life. Also the menu of the mess is decided by the hostel students. In the budget provided by the hostel. Registration is done along with the admission process no other process required.

Admission process is very easy. Eligibility for this college is to pass the cutoff in jee mains exam. You can find it on internet. There are reservation but I have not availed anyone because it is for homestate or sc/st class students. No improvement needs.
