Course Curriculum Overview

I chooses this course as mathematics and computing is one of the best and finest branches in our country. It has awesome prls on future if u wanna go in either of the fields like research ,software etc. The semester exams are not tht easy ... Indeed it's an institute of national importance. So u won't get better cpi if u don't work hard for the exams . Faculty is better here . But must not be dependent on faculty every time.. juss we have to solve the tuts properly and in depth concept control.

There are many internship opportunities available, seniors help us , Girl students have perks for internships , Some internships ranges from 25,000-1,00000 stipend per month .... Some clubs in our college also provide internships to students studying in this clg .

Placement Experience

From semester 6,7 u will be able yo get placements here , recently one of the senior from cse brach hot placement in caterpillar, For tech branches there is ample of companies only ... U may definitely try for off campus ... As facilities are awesome here .

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure: Academic semester+ hostel includes 1,23,300 And 20,000/- for mess .... The mess refund is done after every semester based on the number of days u have the food in mess. Scholarships are many .. u can search it in the official website of rgipt website .

Campus Life

Monthly we have gala dinner once Urjotsav is the annual tech fest KALTARANG the annual cultural fest Energia the annual sports fest Library is awesome and most of the books present in our central library.

Hostel Facilities

U will hae LAN ,WLAN ,wifi connections in rooms ,u can use water heater in winters for hot water ,Meal quality is awesome , registration process for hostel allotment is simple and lifts are provided at every hostel

Admission

Eligibility: must be qualified for either jee mains or jee advanced , application form and fees is moderate ,it starts during the month of July -august ,we have mcm merit based scholarship based on cpi and other many scholarships by up ,Bihar,mp and Rajasthan government,sc/St students have perks here of 25000/- off in their actual fees , admission process happens in website,u need to regularly check the rgipt website soon after your mains and advance exas are completed and apply for it as seats are filled soon for better branches like cse ,mnc ,it ,chemical, petroleum. Good clg for core and braches and in tech branches also good and is improving a lot .

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students become eligible for campus placements. Various companies visit the university including tcs, wipro, Accenture, Harman, Amdocs and they give on average of 4-5LPA. The highest packet would be arounf 35-40LPA and it was off campus. around 70 percent of the students get placed. I am working now

Reasonable Fees and best studies overall a good college

Placement Experience:

the placements are quite good based on students skills and knowledge. from the 7th semester students are eligible to sit in the campus placements the companies like Autodesk,Trilogy,Webcool, and many more companies with average offers of 28LPA to 35LPA. this year average package is around 6-7LPA. the placements percentage varies per year but on average it is 60-70%

the students are eligible for campus placement in the last semester. the companies mostly visits the campus are Wipro,HCL ,TCS and many more. the highest package from this college was 10 /Lpa and the average one is 4.3/lpa. the percentage of students getting placed is 80%. I will manage my father's business after completing this degree.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placement after 6 th semester and at the starting of 6 semester students start getting ppo i.e pre placement offers and other things . An average college, it is good if you are from middle lower class family

For all the colleges I have applied I decided to go with this college as it is an institute of national importance and it appeared more appealing compared to colleges that i was getting. I qualified JEE Advanced but my rank was not enough for IIT so I chose this college as it select candidates based on thier rank in JEE Advanced. chose RGIPT for strong core engineering and PSU placements , applies to IITS/NITS but missed cutoffs.RGIPT admission via JEE mains rang + adv rank :decent cutoff . compared to other ,RGIP has niche focus , good facult , but less city exposure and less placements...Read More

Honest Review Of RGIPT

The most important thing that mattered to my parents which caused them to take interest in this college was that it is a central government college and an institute of national importance on top of that. Also, other colleges I was getting were either too far away or were very expensive. Although according to a government college, RGIPT's fees is also very high but still lesser when compared to the others I was applying to. For admission, we have to fill out the form. The eligibility criteria is that you should have JEE Advanced rank. If the seats after allocation through Advanced are vacant, those are filled through JEE mains rank. Cutoff varies per year so there is no particular trend as such as far as I have noticed. Overall admission experience was good and easy too....Read More

I went for the sake of Govt. college name which turned out of no use as teaching and support is very bad. Also my course name is just a gimmick. Our college admits students on JEE Advanced and for left over seats they use JEE Mains Score. Till 90 percentile in JEE Mains students can get this college. An Honest Opinion for your future at RGIPT

This college was Central Government and was taking admission on the basis of JEE Advanced that are the only 2 reasons to take admission here. I got few colleges but I preferred this. RGIPT conducts its own admission process through its portal. Cutoff for JEE advanced was around 30-35k rank. Admission was smooth process....Read More

RGIPT : An underrated college

The admission process included entrance exams like jee advanced and jee mains, but priority of jee advanced candidate is more and if seat remain vancant then it is filled through jee mains. I had applied many state government colleges like gurugram university, mdu rohtak, pec chandigarh, ymca faridabad, iist, iiser. Some of them are quite good but in terms of research and computer science engineering were not there so I freferred RGIPT. Our college accepts admission through JEE Advanced results but if seats remains vacant then it gets filled on the basis of JEE Mains score. Cutoff for JEE advanced is not specific but someone just qualified jee advanced then there is a high chance of getting admission here, and for jee mains, above 94 percentile is considered to be a safe score....Read More
