Course Curriculum Overview

I chose CSE in NIT kkr , because I was interested in coding from school days only , also coding had a great scope and a good amount of salary . Faculties in our college are average . It depends on the professor how hes teaching , Most of the teachers are well qualified but still they dont want to teach and they just give overview of the subjects . Exams scheduling is really good in our college and holidays are also given in a good amount.

Placement Experience

Placements are really good in our college. Average package of cse branch was approximate 20 lakhs previous year , and that is really a good amount of money. Internships are also provided by our college and we get stipends close to 50 thousands per month .

Fees and Financial Aid

NIT Kurukshetra has the lowest fees among the top govt colleges for engineering. The fee structure is really good, students with poor family backgrounds like me got good waivers in fees. Only Mtech students are eligible for jobs in our college .

Campus Life

Our campus life is really good. We have many canteens on our campus that provide good food. Fests are organized half yearly in our college and those fests are so freaking good . Many clubs are there in our college .

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are not so good. No ac rooms or heater rooms are there in our college. Mess food is average , not so good , just we are surving somehow . Registration was done in the hostel office and that was easy

Admission

I gave JEE mains and got selected for NIT krr. I got state quota benefit as i was from Haryana. I found the application form on josa website where i applied for counseling . I think according to the rank students should be given the list of colleges they can get selected for . This way could be really beneficial.

A walk through Nit kurukshetra

I choose this college cause, I am interested in this branch and I don't have any prior interest in any particular colleges, in this college I am getting the particular branch I am interested in,while there are few colleges which are providing me same branch but they have some limitations like there infrastructure is bad or crowd is not that wonderful like here people are generous and motivated you can't find the same everywhere. Good college for electrical

The admission is only based on JEE Mains Rank. This is a decent college and thus requires decent ranks for good courses. JEE is conducted nationwide by the NTA every year. The process was smooth. You have to first select colleges. You get an allotment and then you verify the docs....Read More
