Course Curriculum Overview
I was always interested in coding and sort of had a love for it and thts why always wanted to learn advance version of it and hence chose computer science also the scope for jobs is high in this field . Student ratio is actually one of the best in comparison to other Engineering colleges and the faculty also is quite big and always available to help the student in need and quite good. Almost all the prof have had phd in their respective fields they are all really experienced and knowledgeable and I get to learn a lot from them. The exams have quite a lot of time between them which is really helpful as gives us time to study and prepare for it and also doesn't cause any pressure on us and we can enjoy our college life too and they r really not difficult to pass just need to focus on what the teachers teach you in the class.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester students become eligible for placements and a lot of big companies come like Microsoft tcs Amazon bosch dell etc. and we have a placement percentage of almost 90 even more I am not tht aware highest package ordered was around 60 lakh and average offered is 16 lakhs. My plans after a degree is to get some job experience and go for mba abroad.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since it is a private college fees is a bit high but roi is decent if not great and college is wonderful gives every opportunity to excel students are provided with everything. MIT gives scholarships if you secure and good rank in the entrance examination so that helps with the fees. They have on campus placements and a lot of big companies come to recruit.
Campus Life
The annual fest is revels and tech fest is called tech tatva. Tech tatva is conducted in October whereas revels is conducted in March. Library is huge and you would honestly find all the books you require there wldnt be any book you want tht they won't have.classrooms are upto date they have projectors black board, air conditioners and a lot of other things. You name any sport mit has it and ur talent is respected here even extra circular activities you wld prolly graduate and still wont know about all of them so my college provides good opportunities to students in other fields as well. A lot of clubs cant name all of them but racing manipal, adda dramatics club and so on.
Hostel Facilities
I think we have one of the best hostels when it comes to engineering colleges like the food is world class and they have a new menu every week and it's a lot of items fully air conditioned mess and rooms also have ac almost like ur living in an apartment of your own. Registration for hostels was based on rank which is quite fair in my opinion and for the facilities they provide it is quite affordable.
Admission
The admission process was actually really smooth we were allotted centres, hall tickets were released and then we had to go through proper frisking enter our details and write the exam. Application form and fees were all available on their website itself I didn't hv to go around searching for it, it was really easy to apply and pay the fees. There isn't any need for improvement as such.
Other Applied Colleges
