Hostels- very good and well clean hostels
Mess food - Better than many of colleges

Dislikes

So much of strictness for gate paas , and after 8pm you can't go outside
Campus size- only in 47 acres . No playground for cricket

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is almost same as IIT BHU's curriculum. In computer science department we have branches like CSE, IT, CSD and in maths department its MnC also..Rest all are core branches. Teachers here are very well qualified and always ready to help..

Class Size: 59Course Fees: INR 1146000 per year

Placement Experience

WELL .... Till 2019 this was a petroleum and chemical branch college only. But from 2020 other branches also got introduced. Cse first betch is going to paas out in 2024 itself. So placement season has started..no such placement has happened as of now in cse Brancu.. chemical branch students get very good placement here. Most of the psu come here and select good number of students also , on a vey good salary

Fees and Financial Aid

Overall fees for a Genral student goes around 12lakh for whole course. Regarding Scholarship, if you come in the top 10%ile of your batch in the first semester then clg will provide you 20k for all the 8 semester. Its for all those students who have family income less than 10lakh. Otherwise there is no soch scholarship provided by college

Campus Life

College life is not that much fun here cause of the college location. Basically its located in remote area of amethi district mainly surrounded by villages. Not such fests are organised here. Cultural fest Kaltarang was organised last in 2019. Technical fest was organised in 2023.was quite fun

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are very good and so as the mess food as. They provide 2 beds in a room i.e for 2 students. Almirah, Godrej, study table(which is quite big) is provided for each students. Bathrooms are also very good here

Hostel Fee: INR 160000 per year

Admission

I am a second year IT branch student at RGIPT . I got this college and this particular branch by my JEE Advanced Rank which was (AIR 22360) . In my time the IT branch cutoff was around 26k for general and 26.5k for Gen Ews and Obc NCL. Most of Scheduled Caste and schedule tribe students got this branch by their category ranks in jee advanced. There is reservation for girls also. But In this year i e 2027 batch, many a people got the same branch who didn't qualified the JEE advanced. Which is probably the sad part.

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students become eligible for campus placements. Various companies visit the university including tcs, wipro, Accenture, Harman, Amdocs and they give on average of 4-5LPA. Reasonable Fees and best studies overall a good college

Placement Experience:

the placements are quite good based on students skills and knowledge. from the 7th semester students are eligible to sit in the campus placements the companies like Autodesk,Trilogy,Webcool, and many more companies with average offers of 28LPA to 35LPA. this year average package is around 6-7LPA. the placements percentage varies per year but on average it is 60-70%

the students are eligible for campus placement in the last semester. the companies mostly visits the campus are Wipro,HCL ,TCS and many more. the highest package from this college was 10 /Lpa and the average one is 4.3/lpa. the percentage of students getting placed is 80%. I will manage my father's business after completing this degree.

KNIT SULTANPUR IS A GOOD COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placement after 6 th semester and at the starting of 6 semester students start getting ppo i.e pre placement offers and other things . This year many companies have visited here like wipro,hcl,etc and the average package is 8 lpa and percentage of students placed are 15 to 20 percent.

An average college, it is good if you are from middle lower class family

In our college I think placement are average, the average package is 4 lacks per annum. And the highest package is 34 lacks per annum.in the 2025 batch.There are approx about 60% of ye students get placed and some are left In the last of 6 or 7 semester students are eligible to sit in placements In our college the company that visit are finsol , commevault, nippons, hcl , juspay,etc.

For all the colleges I have applied I decided to go with this college as it is an institute of national importance and it appeared more appealing compared to colleges that i was getting. I qualified JEE Advanced but my rank was not enough for IIT so I chose this college as it select candidates based on thier rank in JEE Advanced. RGIPT expensive education , low placement support

chose RGIPT for strong core engineering and PSU placements , applies to IITS/NITS but missed cutoffs.RGIPT admission via JEE mains rang + adv rank :decent cutoff . compared to other ,RGIP has niche focus , good facult , but less city exposure and less placements...Read More

Honest Review Of RGIPT

The most important thing that mattered to my parents which caused them to take interest in this college was that it is a central government college and an institute of national importance on top of that. Also, other colleges I was getting were either too far away or were very expensive. Although according to a government college, RGIPT's fees is also very high but still lesser when compared to the others I was applying to. For admission, we have to fill out the form. The eligibility criteria is that you should have JEE Advanced rank. If the seats after allocation through Advanced are vacant, those are filled through JEE mains rank. Cutoff varies per year so there is no particular trend as such as far as I have noticed. Overall admission experience was good and easy too....Read More

I went for the sake of Govt. college name which turned out of no use as teaching and support is very bad. Also my course name is just a gimmick. Our college admits students on JEE Advanced and for left over seats they use JEE Mains Score. Till 90 percentile in JEE Mains students can get this college. An Honest Opinion for your future at RGIPT

This college was Central Government and was taking admission on the basis of JEE Advanced that are the only 2 reasons to take admission here. I got few colleges but I preferred this. RGIPT conducts its own admission process through its portal. Cutoff for JEE advanced was around 30-35k rank. Admission was smooth process....Read More

I was getting a better branch in this collage with more opportunities. But when I saw my other college list that I got there was the lower branches. So instead of getting good colleges like IIITs and BIT Mesra and having lower branches. I choose to come to RGIPT which is also a reputed name but with a great booming branch.
