Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty to student ration is Good (6:1), Good Padogogy speacianeed lly in subjects like Finance, Marketing All the teachers Are PHD Holders from Top IIMs and Taught in Top Bschools like XLRI, IIMA, SPJAIMR. we need to give 1 mid term and 1 major exam for every subject and difficulty level for exam is moderate level subjects are divided into 1.5 credit and 3 credit, The 1.5 credit subjects taught for half of the sem and the 3 credit subjects for full semesters.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 560000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Can Not disclose the compan name and the type of work I am going to but the Company I am placed is a FMCG company and it provide the decent stipend and the project is related to the New Product development.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is provided to PH/SC/ST student (No Tution fee). The ROI of DMS is great more than 100%. Other scholarship can be avail by students but it is offcampus activity. No stipent is given to the MBA students it is only for the PHD students.

Annual Fest: Rendezvous (IIT Delhi fest, 5 Day amazing fest) and Parivartan (DMS's own 3 Day fest Business + cultural) Availaibilty of books: IIT Delhi Central Library (You can find any book or order any book to Read), DMS's own Library You can find good books for Management. Amenitites in classroom: AC Class rooms with Smart Boards and good infra for studies and WIFI with 200MBPS speed Sport and Extra curricular: Every sport is availaible to play and you can participate in inter IIT Sports competetions. Clubs: We have Marketing club, Ops club and Finance club.

Eligibility: minimum of 60% in the grad from any stream. Application starts: After CAT Result. Last Dates: 31 January Every year Reservation benefit: Low Composite Score for admission, No Fee for PH/SC/ST

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

I chose IIT Delhi because it has the best faculties and a strong alumni network. Besides this the research aspects here are better than other colleges.
