Course Curriculum Overview
The student ratio is 1 faculty for 6 students. The faculty is very qualified and very responsive to student needs. Each faculty is a researcher in their fields and is PhD from teir 1 institute. The exams are fairly easy to pass as the focus is on skill development and placements
Internships Opportunities
People here get placed in top teir companies including Mondelez , Maersk, Merylitcs, KPMG, Accenture Strategy AIetc The roles offered are spread accross domains and the corporate relations and industry interaction committee is very proactive
Placement Experience
The placements for DMS are very good. The placement comittee works very hard to bring in new roles and companies. Despite the global recession the placements in our college have been amazing There is 100 percent placement record of DMS.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is fairly low as compared to other bschools, thus making DMS a choice for ROI lookers. Top 3 students get scholarship on tution fees 1st 100 percent 2ns 50 percent 3rd 25 percent If you do well you can full refund of the fees. The fees is also minimal in view of the facility IiT provides
Campus Life
The classroom are air conditioned. The canteen is not, which creates a problem in summers. DMS library has fairly low stock of books, but the central library has all one can imagine. Each sport you can think is there in IIT. The more you explore the more you get. Another good part is the interaction with Btechs , it is always fun to interact with brightest minds of the country
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are not good. Didn't get hostel in the first semester. There is no AC The rooms are small and old. I live in a hostel buolt in 1969. Hostel are affordable and the mess food is good. Hostels help you become a part of the larger IIT ecosystem
Admission
CAT is the entrance exam one has to take, and then apply on the DMS website seperately. The form costs 1600 each for two courses, MBA core and Telecom Management. I wish to see GD being implemented in the admission process and people who are efficient team managers will get into the college and others won't
