Course Curriculum Overview

Chemical engineering is best course here with highest placement, average placement of 12 lakhs faculty student ratio is 1: 20, Faculties are well qualified and almost all faculties are from foreign their teachingwthod is very nice. There is two term exam mid semester and end semester and it's not very difficult to pass the exams l.

Internships Opportunities

Internship are provide by Gail,iocl, HPCL, BPCL and merced bemz and many other companies. In some internships they provide stipend and in some they not as we saw generally PSUs doesn't provide stipend but private companies give stipend

7th semester onwards students are eligible for placement Iocl, HPCL, BPCL Gail, Indorama, shell, hmel, hal, reliance and many companies visited here Highest package is of 40 lakhs lpaand lowest is 4 lakhs lpa Last year from chemical batch full.batch gets placed My plan is to start a startup after getting degree

Fees and Financial Aid

There is academic fees of rs 1,23,300 and mess advance 20,000 per semester A meritorious scholarship of 25% is provided to meritorious students with CPI above 7 atleast. Lot of job opportunities are here mainly placement is done in PSUs

Campus Life

Annual fest name is kaltarang and techfest name is urjotsav. Urjotsav is conducted in November month and kaltarang is conducted in month of March . Books and journals are available on library, maany books are present daily newspaper and weekly and monthly magazine are also there Classroom are well maintained and spacious too well equipped with smart facilities there is digital lecturn and projecters in all classrooms We celebrate our annual sports fest energia in month of February there is extra curricular activities also There is lot of clubs as students chapter present here

Hostel Facilities

In rooms they provide two cupboard two large table and two shoe rack 2 tube lights and two beds electric switches and one fan with glass window Meal quality is poor, menu is good but meal quality is poor There is no hostel registration process and hostels are affordable as this institute doesn't allow day scholars

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

Admission done through jee advanced and jee mains also. Application form is available at institute's official website, there is 25000 of fee reduction as reservation benefits. Admission should be done through jee advanced only

Life of college of DELHI NCR

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Strict and sober college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

My personal college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .

An Honest Opinion for your future at RGIPT

This college was Central Government and was taking admission on the basis of JEE Advanced that are the only 2 reasons to take admission here. I got few colleges but I preferred this. RGIPT conducts its own admission process through its portal. Cutoff for JEE advanced was around 30-35k rank. Admission was smooth process....Read More

RGIPT : An underrated college

The admission process included entrance exams like jee advanced and jee mains, but priority of jee advanced candidate is more and if seat remain vancant then it is filled through jee mains. I had applied many state government colleges like gurugram university, mdu rohtak, pec chandigarh, ymca faridabad, iist, iiser. Some of them are quite good but in terms of research and computer science engineering were not there so I freferred RGIPT. Our college accepts admission through JEE Advanced results but if seats remains vacant then it gets filled on the basis of JEE Mains score. Cutoff for JEE advanced is not specific but someone just qualified jee advanced then there is a high chance of getting admission here, and for jee mains, above 94 percentile is considered to be a safe score....Read More

I was getting a better branch in this collage with more opportunities. But when I saw my other college list that I got there was the lower branches. So instead of getting good colleges like IIITs and BIT Mesra and having lower branches. I choose to come to RGIPT which is also a reputed name but with a great booming branch.
