Likes
- they encourage us enough to learn new skills , for example they even in 1st semester we have been given some innovative projects to complete , now evenn thoughh we are copying it from several sourcess , the knowledge , that we're gaining is immensse.
- frequent teach events are bein hosted by our management , it excites us and allows them to do something extra apart from studies and all , it keeps us joyed and what to say , various fest are also held , like garba nights were there during navaratri
- friendly enviroment inside the campus , the hostel life is really good , though im not part of it , the food provided by college mess is quite impressive , and they have also installed some vending machines here and there inside the campus for us
Dislikes
- campus size is little small compared to other ones in our region ,
- the attendance policy here is very bad , like students are getting debarred even if they are having 72% attendance
Course Curriculum Overview
though these ppl are really progressive abt curriculum and all , like many workshops are being conducted for industry level skills , also i think some things still needds to be changed, like when there is exam period , everything looks different , and everything is about grades and all , u have to wrotelearn ,and assignment completion and all...
Internships Opportunities
internships opportunies are well there , like the management has collaborated with several tech firms , to get us industry level skills in our portfolio , i mena they are doing good and enabling us to really get our ands dirty and adapt to these conditions and all yess...
Placement Experience
as far as i know the this year there were no companies , like no oppurtunity were there for on campus placements , so now theyare focusing on it to solve it asap , andd students are mainly going for offcampus right now
Fees and Financial Aid
so , ive paid around 1lakh+ as my 1st sem fee , the total fee for 1 year is 2 lakhs for BE/B.TECH in my uni. As far as scolarships aare concerned , i think they are many options , like they give u a fee waiver if uve scored good marks in either jee or 12th boards , u can get get upto 20% fee waiver , now talking about fees for other departments , i dont have any idea...
Campus Life
yes like various clubs arre there , various societies are there for students to enter , and do something different , library is quite good ive been there and talking abt sports and extra curricullar , yes the infrastructure is nice , u can play various types of games....
Admission
first thing is that i watned to move out from my city since starting , and i were targetting delhi ncr as main , then i came to know about iilm gn from one of my friends studying in this college , who is a 2nd year student , and is now doing quite well in his academics and he actually suggested me to come here , but also i didnt have much options with me , so it was also the last shore for me.....
Faculty
mid sems are of 50 marks , my subjects are phy math data sci communication and c programming , end sems are of 100 marks , also we are being taught linux (one class in a week) so its good , talking abt the faculties , they are quite good for ex my phy teacher is from iit kgp , math faculty were from iitb , they are really experienced and they quire really get well with us students
Night Life
as far as i heard , the nighrt life/hostel life is really really good in our campius , sadly im not part of it due to financial constraints but my friends , they really be giving some positibe reviews abt the hosteller life and , its quite exciting and comfortable , like facilities are great , gym is also there for fitness freaks , overall its really good
