Likes

No hostel timing restrictions even in girls hostel.
Mess food is fine too. Better than most of other colleges.
Most of the faculty is Easy to interact with.

Dislikes

There isnt a big ground for sports for all sports enthusiasts out there.
CS related fields are not stable yet as they were introduced very recently and the first batch is yet to pass
There aren't any on campus internship offers as of now.

The faculty we have here are all those who've done their PHD from top IITs. Professors won't deny for solving your doubts you can reach to them for ant help. The student ratio here is 8:1. We have decent infrastructure and well built classrooms.

Class Size: 47Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is like you have to pay 1.23 lac as tuition fees and 20k mess fess per semester there isn't any hostel fees separately. And as of scholarship if you are in top 10% of your class in your first semester you'll be rewarded with merit cum means scholarship.

Campus Life

Infrastructure of our college is pretty decent we have well built classrooms, spacious hostels. There are different types of student chapters for every domain and you'll find dance club music club and drama club over here. We have our teachfest in the month of November sports fest in February and cultural fest in April

Admission

Admissions are done on the basis of your JEE Advance and JEE Mains ranks. Higher preference is given to advanced qualified students. If you have just qualified JEE Advance then you'll easily get this college and for Mains you should have atleast 90 percentile

I am a B. Tech student so I am happy with my course. As we can see the world is full on dependent on network so I decide to choose computer science. Let's talk about IERT Prayagraj

Placement Experience:

Here you'll get placement cell for placement training. But most the students studying here aren't interested in placement. Most students go for GATE examination or UPSC examination. Even I have plan to go for UPSC examination. There are many rankers passed from here. I think the highest package in 2024 was of 12LPA and average was 4LPA. There is not very high paying visit from any company. But in off campus there are some students who have cracked 45LPA per annum package at Amazon. I my opinion if you are passionate about any government examination then definitely you can opt for this college . And if you want placement then make your self perfect and go for off campus.

Kiet is good choice if you are keeping it in options.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In our autonomous batch there are more practical and project based subjects. There is one subject called design thinking in this we have to think of real life problems and empathize about it abs find or create solutions for them it can a whole new system, a simple app or machine or even a campaign as long as it helps society. There is one ihs subject also which promotes my branch (ECE) in pharmacy , like teaching about medical devices and technology and even our semestet projects are like creating portable ecg machine, creating automatic wheelchair, temprature- oxygen- heartbeat sensor abd recorder etc. It increases difficulties but also improves chances for placemenys in your 4th year if you are already creatibg such things in 1st sem. Frequency and difficulty of exam is moderate i think.

For all the colleges I have applied I decided to go with this college as it is an institute of national importance and it appeared more appealing compared to colleges that i was getting. I qualified JEE Advanced but my rank was not enough for IIT so I chose this college as it select candidates based on thier rank in JEE Advanced. RGIPT expensive education , low placement support

chose RGIPT for strong core engineering and PSU placements , applies to IITS/NITS but missed cutoffs.RGIPT admission via JEE mains rang + adv rank :decent cutoff . compared to other ,RGIP has niche focus , good facult , but less city exposure and less placements...Read More

Honest Review Of RGIPT

The most important thing that mattered to my parents which caused them to take interest in this college was that it is a central government college and an institute of national importance on top of that. Also, other colleges I was getting were either too far away or were very expensive. Although according to a government college, RGIPT's fees is also very high but still lesser when compared to the others I was applying to. For admission, we have to fill out the form. The eligibility criteria is that you should have JEE Advanced rank. If the seats after allocation through Advanced are vacant, those are filled through JEE mains rank. Cutoff varies per year so there is no particular trend as such as far as I have noticed. Overall admission experience was good and easy too....Read More

Slightly Satisfied Overall

I went for the sake of Govt. college name which turned out of no use as teaching and support is very bad. Also my course name is just a gimmick. Our college admits students on JEE Advanced and for left over seats they use JEE Mains Score. Till 90 percentile in JEE Mains students can get this college. An Honest Opinion for your future at RGIPT

This college was Central Government and was taking admission on the basis of JEE Advanced that are the only 2 reasons to take admission here. I got few colleges but I preferred this. RGIPT conducts its own admission process through its portal. Cutoff for JEE advanced was around 30-35k rank. Admission was smooth process....Read More

RGIPT : An underrated college

The admission process included entrance exams like jee advanced and jee mains, but priority of jee advanced candidate is more and if seat remain vancant then it is filled through jee mains. I had applied many state government colleges like gurugram university, mdu rohtak, pec chandigarh, ymca faridabad, iist, iiser. Some of them are quite good but in terms of research and computer science engineering were not there so I freferred RGIPT. Our college accepts admission through JEE Advanced results but if seats remains vacant then it gets filled on the basis of JEE Mains score. Cutoff for JEE advanced is not specific but someone just qualified jee advanced then there is a high chance of getting admission here, and for jee mains, above 94 percentile is considered to be a safe score....Read More
