there are soo many clubs to explore in which club you have interest.
we have freedom we can do what we wanted we can go outside the collage at 2am also.

Every months exams and prof just give lecture and go.

in the first year all the branches people get the same subjects all and from the second year they get their respective courses according to their branch and also go to their respective departments .

Placement Experience

i can say it is iitk so placement is good according to other collages. But also that is not sufficient we give our ass, childhood to get into iit. Like average is around 22lakh but it increases because of some high pakages, so....

Fees and Financial Aid

i will say tution fee is like normal 2 lakh for a year but the extra charges like mess and hostel combine is more. it also depend on which family background you belong to. here are many scholarships like mcm if your family income is less then 6 lakh then you get 2/3 fee reduction.

Campus Life

in iitk there are 3 fests one is antragini second udghosh (a sports fest) and last is techkriti (a tech fest that will be in February). here on Monday to Friday library opens at 8 am to 11:30pm daily there are many books available to the library.

Hostel Facilities

here in room quality can say is bad because room is made to live 2 students and we are 3 and in 1 student room there are 2 living and in 2nd year and 3rd year the same we only get single room in last 4th year which is bad.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

The admission process at IITK is highly competitive and selective. It primarily relies on the jee advance a rigorous examination that assesses the knowledge and problem solving skills to get in IIK around 15k people out of 2 lakh.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The rate of my branch was quite high because I am in CSE AIML and future is totally depends on it that's why i select this branch. The College provide 100 percent to you for makeing you a winning horse in it sector but you will be initiated from your side.the most bad things is In first normal classess are going on like 12 and that is not good.some extra curricular activities is not happen in this college .they should be focus on this points. The paper was quite easy because exam is conducted by aktu.

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. The cut-off for IITK varies-from branch to branch. For example the CSE of IITk open from Jee advanced general rank of 115 to 250....Read More

I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats.
