Why IIT Kanpur is best

I belongs to SC category so I know about my fees. During admission it charge around 25k. There is no tuition fees for reserved category students. There would a monthly mess and electricity bill. Which cost you around 5k per month. It may fluctuate 3k-7k depending on how many times you buy extras in mess. Rate of mess is around ?85 per day.

The academic flexibility at IIT Kanpur is vast which enables a student to pursue a lot of courses from other departments too which enhances the skill set of an individual here.

Dislikes

The academics can sometimes get very rigorous and hectic and can demand a lot of time from the students which can affect their time that is dedicated for the student clubs and other extra curriculars.

There is no current hike in the tution fee but the overall cost of a UG program is regarded to be high for a general category student. The complete cost of accomodation and messing for the 4 years is approx. INR 432,000. I'm about to undertake the internship drive conducted by the placement office in my 5th semester which will be after the summers.

A True Glance at IITK

Fees per semester is approx Rs 1,15,000 apart from this you have to pay your mess bill which is approx Rs 2500 per month.But there is financial assistance based on your family income.If you family income is less than 1 lac/yr then you can get 100% wavier on tution fee which is Rs1,00,000 and if your family income lies between 1-5 lac/yr then you will get a 2/3 rd remission on tutuion fees.There are many startup opportunities here at the campus.

i will say tution fee is like normal 2 lakh for a year but the extra charges like mess and hostel combine is more. it also depend on which family background you belong to. here are many scholarships like mcm if your family income is less then 6 lakh then you get 2/3 fee reduction.

About IIT Kanpur

Curriculum here is hard enough it built to much pressure in some branch like mech and civil

Fees per semester are nearly 1.2 lakhs for the general category whose family income is more than 5 lakhs. And for general category students with a family income between 1 to 5 lakhs and all OBC students get a remission of 2/3 of tuition fees which are 1 lakh per semester. And whose family income is less than 1 lakh will get full remission of tuition fees and a 100 per cent tuition fee waiver for sc /st / pwd students. And there are lots of scholarship here for students.
