Entrance Preview

I got 93% in +2. So decided get the admission in the best college of north zone But my goal is to be a CA.

Internships Opportunities

People usually prefer doing post graduation after B.COM as the scope become more wider. Intership of B.COM less because students are not interestes in doing job after B.COM.

Placement Experience

Job opportunities are really gud many reputated companies do come 2 our college like google and all.

College Events

As i m in frst year i didn't know about the events properly but the important events are virasat at the start of the year and so many freshers parties organised by the college and political parties.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is totally feasible. Its only 30k for the whole year. After being so reputated college the fee is less. Which could be bearable by most of the people.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college must be providing the facilities of scholarship as students over here is very hardworking. And sometimes in need of scholarship too.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel of college is very gud the food and internet facilities are being provided with proper care. Although the fee is little high which is 65k yearly. But is far more better then a pg.

Faculty

The faculty of our course is mostly PHDs so our college is doing really well. Most of the teacher are very well qualified and experienced as well due to which due to which they make the students understand the things really well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is not hard ofcourse but it's pretty old fashioned and non modernistic . No technology inculcation in the curriculum. Difficulty level is not much . There should be modernisation of the curriculum. More technology inclusion . More tech based learning . More practical education.

THE LIFE AT DAV COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We do have a training and placement cell which is run mostly run by both students and teachers. Students with good percentile can sit for placements and can get place into companies which are mostly from BPO and sales background. Students are eligible for campus placements in their 5th semester. Companies which have came in our college in 2024-2025 are Sri ram insurance , Kotak insurance , Planet spark , De shaw , Zomato etc. Highest package offered is around 5 LPA and average package is around 1.5 LPA. I have planned to go for higher studies after my graduation, most probably I will be doing MBA.

From 5th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like tech mahindra, airtel, delloitte,etc visited for campus Placements. The highest package this year was 9 Lakhs. And average package this year was 6 lakhs. Near around 97% students got campus placement. After getting degree my plan is to opt for MBA in finance from a good reputed college .

Elgibility was easy as people for any background rather say commerce , arts , non medical or medical . College doesnt have any entrance exam for admission.Students are admitted through centralized admission under DHE chandigarh. Punjab university offers admission to those students those have good grades in class 12th. HONEST REVIEW BY OF GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH BY A STUDENT

Eligibiltity of my course was just on my 12th class's board percentage. You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the official website of GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH There are reservered seats for specific castes although i am from general category so i did not get any type of reservation. The exams are held every 5 to 6 months after the semester end. And they are held from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2 pm to 5pm.
