A day at IMI

I wanted to do my masters in marketing to make a career in the marketing industry . Therefore , I chose the PGDM course . Teacher student ratio is 1:20 One of the USPs of IMI New Delhi is its experienced faculties . The teaching method here is more based on practical knowledge mixed with theoretical insights that helps me connect with real world scenarios. The exams are scheduled in terms of Mid sems , and end sems . In my opinion the difficulty level is moderate.

We have marketing HR finance and BFS where in different kinds of companies be it from JP Morgan to a small step and company we have Google we have different companies big forthcoming in our come college

Hundred percent placement from college where in if the student does not get a placement then we have different contacts also personal contact and we also considered the companies around 150 companies visit every year to take the 360 students and top notch company is also higher with the average package of 17,00,00 rupees

Fee hike policy is comparable to other management colleges . I had to take a bank loan to finance about65% of my college expenses that included both college tuition fees , and hostel mess fees. I am still in the first year and my internship process is still going on.

The college life is engaging at IMI New Delhi . There are events throughout the year . The main events are conventus (September) , Kritva ( February) ,Tedx ( December), Vimarsh ( September) . I am a part of international relations committee that handles international exchange of students as well as other events . The library has great collections of books and journal with access to Bloomberg lab . The classrooms are mordern equipped with state of art tech and the sitting appropriate .

Facility everything is available we have a maid which cleans the room twice a day washrooms are clean all the amenities are provided the quality of the food has been handled by Sodexo company which is up to the mark and the registration process for hostel is really quick and easy we have a warden who looks after the college hostel

I took CAT'23 where in I scored 82 percentile and I applied to IMI New Delhi where my profile was shortlisted and I was called for an interview . Interview process - There were two evaluators one from business and the other one from general side . The interview process was approximately 25 mins long . Questions were a mix of both direct and situational based . Where in I was asked about the current affairs , specific subject questions and HR based situational questions . Post my interview my profile was in waitlist and eventually i converted the admission in PGDM program at IMI New Delhi . I did not had any reservation benefits .

There was no GD for my admission as there was a personal interview round as discussed in my previous answer. As for the other criteria we had to submit multiple documents both in hard and soft copy for the college to proceed my application.
