good environment of discipline ,where students learn good manners .
good opportunities for sports for those are interested in games
campus placement is good , like not best but average

Dislikes

you cant have beards in college you have to clean shave in this college.but after 1st year they dont force you too much.
college has uniform ,which give you feeling as school life. But in winter you can wear any jackets or hoodies.
some rules are strict in college like attendence fine is 500 per subject. if attendence is less than 70% in any subject.

Course Curriculum Overview

i choose the course because of upcoming demand of ai in future .as we know that Ai will rule world in future ,so job opportunities will be become available in large amount.student nos are 55 to 60 in each class. mostly faculty are qualified from jadavpur university kolkata. semeter exams are conducting little late due to some reasons like lateral entery students .

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 141200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

fees for 1 year in college is 141,200 and 563,800 for 4 year and 5000 is caution money students of west bengal can apply for swami vivekand scholarship ,where they can get 70k each year. outside bengal students can apply for nsp (national scholarship portal). that is for all students of india.

Campus Life

fairwell is conducted every year and freshers party is also conducted in college. others nothing is conducted there is both online and offline library in college ,where you can get varierty of books. clasroom has no acs but you got fans and good windows. sports activities is very good in college like tt,vollyball,badmintion,cricket. sports competition is organised on annual sports day.

Admission

I gave wb jee exam ,my rank was 25k,i got this college in third round (mop-up round),Btech in artificial intelligence and machine learning. all th process are online of 3 rounds for college choices. after third round,you have to go to college for admission . the charge in sitting wb jee counselling round you have to apy rs 5000. yes some students in each class got reservation like 0 cost fees. for the btech

The course curriculum is very relevant and useful for us.They teach data structures algorithm that is very important for college placements and they also teach os, networks and other usefull things that is very important in computer science.They provide very high quality labs and the whole college has a good internet connection.Tecahers are very educated and good they helps us and teaching in very good way .The exams time schedule is also very good if there is any problem the college will change the exam date that is really a good thing.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190
