Faculties are so helpful. You can reach them if you don't understand anything
The ground and dias is a hangout spots for students.
Our junior senior relationship is actually so healthy.

Dislikes

Canteen's food quality is not that good.
Fine of 500 each subject if there's attendance below 75%
Laboratories are old. Need to upgrade the gears and machines

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties are good. They have vast knowledge and degrees but some of them can't communicate to the students during teaching. So sometimes the topics get hard to understand. But they hired some mew professors who actually know the teaching style. It helps a lot

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 91000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is decided and directed by makaut University. In 1st year its 44500 each semester. During 2nd year , it's 45500. 3rd year it rises to 46500 and last year it becomes 46500 each semester. However 2023 admission students are changed more fees than us

Campus Life

No annual fest at our college. Tech fest happened last time before the COVID. Freshers and farewell are the main attraction dor students. Our library is vast with varieties of books and journal. Classrooms are spacious and well lit. Our clg students is very active in sports event. And it is organised on a large scale. Social group and clubs are also there.

Admission

I was admitted through wbjee entrance exam. Authority is actually helpful during the whole admission process. I made a mistake while submitting the application form but when I informed them about that they actually helped a lot.

Placement at GMIT kolkata begin from 6th semester with over 80 companies visiting annually including TCS,Cognizant ,Imfosys.The highest package this year touched 12 lpa while the average is around 3.5 lpa .

Placement Experience:

The Students here can apply for CDC Placements in Final Year and if I tell about B.Tech. Specifically then in 7th Semester of their course. Many prominent companies visit here for recruiting the brilliant minds like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Intel, Qualcomm, Samsung, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Barclays, IBM, Texas Instruments, Tata Steel, L&T, Bajaj Auto, Flipkart, American Express, Infosys, Wipro, PwC....and many more. There isn't any data provided by our institute to us stating of the highest and average package by particular comapanies and the profiles offered. But I can tell you of my department's 2023-24 CDC Placement drive: We had the highest no. of offers that is 128. Highest offer made was 1.4Cr INR pa and Median and average package offered were 21-22 lakhs pa and 25-26 lakhs pa respectively. almost 87% students had got placed in the last placement season. The 2024-25 Placement season isn't over now, but till Dec 2 2024, again we had the highest no. of offers that is 20. If I talk about my future plans, I want to go into reasearch in VLSI Industry in future as the VLSI is Tech of the future.

The journey of my college is really incredible.
