Likes
- The teachers and their way of studying. Most of them are equipped with devices like tabs and laptop and they use them well to make us understand difficult topics
- The campus life is balancing. The college hours are not so long which makes us free from doing any other activities or courses
- The location of the college is great. Various connectivity is there which makes it hassel free to reach there.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure could be quite better. The ground could be improved since it is a bit small.
- No placements are there. Since it is government college but still every student would like to get placed at the end of the graduation.
- The canteen facility is poor. Most of the days either they are full during the break or the food run out due to shortagee
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the course because i always wanted to graduate in Finance. The faculty is quite good. There are 30 faculty members in Bcom department. They all are quite good in their job . The professors and madams are friendly too. They are punctual about their class in the routine and hardly miss any classes.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since it is an government aided college the fees is quite reasonable around 3250 per Semester. It has a huge library with variety of books. The college sometimes provide the books according to per Semester with minimal cost. The college currently doesn't avail any scholarships and internships.
Campus Life
The annual fest is celebrated every year in the month of January which runs for 3 days, various artists comes and also college students show their talent. The infrastructure is quite decent not that higher class level . The classroom are huge with much space to accumulated 100+ students. Each classroom are equipped with Digital board with projector. The rooms are much airy. Being one of the best college in Kolkata the college also have one of the best teams in every sports. There are number of trophies which the college team won in various inter college tournaments.
Admission
The admission process is solely through merit basis. Best of 4 Subjects are selected and among them the deserving candidates are selected whose name comes in the merit list.The cut off usually goes till 85. 10 merit lists are published.
