I really like the sports events like cricket.
Football, badminton and table tennis tournaments.
Also they host some events like freshers and farewells.

Dislikes

The rule regarding that you cannot keep beard
Also they doesn't allow students to do internships
Also they enforce too much strictness regarding attendance

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it is one of the latest trending courses and as days are progressing everything is getting connected to artificial intelligence. The faculty student ratio is 1:15. The syllabus provided is very good and efficient enough in my opinion

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 92000 per year

Placement Experience

The highest package offered was 11 lakhs per annum and the lowest was 3.5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placements every year is more than 90%. My plans after getting the degree is to go for research purposes.

Fees and Financial Aid

Though our college is yet to give placement to our first batch of students studying btech in aiml, but I hope it will be good enough. There are some scholarships like Swami Vivekananda scholarship and many others too

Campus Life

Though our college does not organise any fest but it really focuses on sports events like cricket, football, badminton, and table tennis tournaments. It all allows us to organise freshers and farewells.

Admission

I got admission in the college through west Bengal joint entrance examination. The exam does have reservations, in the future I want to see a admission without any reservation, where every student will get admission only through their merits.

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
