The campus size is comparatively more than other colleges of AKTU
Some of the faculty members are really good
Nothing else to like about this college ,it is a mini jail

Dislikes

The administration is very rude and heart less , they don't care about you , even if you are dying. For them fees and your attendance is most important, special SL Kapoor , I P Sharma and their gang
They do not focus on industrial demand ,teach same old syllabus which is useless
They are always ready to fine you for no reason and call you parents if you are absent for longer periods of time, as if you are in school

Course Curriculum Overview

I am enrolled in CSE branch , as this is the most trending and I personally have a keen interest in it, faculty members are overall good and well read, exceptions are always there. Teaching methodology is some what good ,can be improved. Aktu has not updated it's syllabus from a long time so ,that is the most important drawback.

Students become eligible for placement from 6th semester, on campus this year was very bad , highest was 7 lack. Only few companies visited the campus this time , last to last year Amazon also visited the campus and gave 25 lpa to few folks. But the black listed our college for 2 years , as for our college sessional exam are more important that life/career of a student 70-80. % student gats placed I will opt for offcampus placement and then Ms or MBA College won't provide you noc easily You need to be selected in a very good company for internship

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for first year is around 170000, excluding hostel fees which is 130000 for 2 seater and 120000 for 3 , seats are limited in hostel ,so if you are lucky you will get the hostel. Government provide scholarship to those who are not from well to do family or not financially well

Campus Life

No fest in the college , only one fresher was held in which we were made to sit like school primary students.Boys and girls in different rows. Not even tech fest , they won't give you attendance if you are absent at any cost , even is you have medical issue or emergency We also have a good library , you will get most of the book which you require as a student Sports is good but no extra curricular activities, Thrlere are some societies and groups but 1st year students are not allowed to join it I don't know why, it's a mini jail

Hostel Facilities

No Ac in hostel , not even in class rooms, you will die in summers , you have to pay extra for cooler including electricity bill, You will be provided with bedding, table , lan connection and personal cupboard Mess food is ok ok , but same repeated food There are some PG s around the campus in affordable rates , less than hostel

Admission

I appeared for jee College take admission in your 12th grade scores For CSE core you need to get above 96% in 12 for direct admission I got admission through councelling of aktu The process was smooth but took almost 2 months for councelling

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More

Cutoffs are nothing but the marks obtained by the last student being declared qualified. To make it more clear, let's take an example. Suppose 1000 students sit in an exam. Several students who need to be called for counseling are supposed to 500. Now, A rank list is prepared based on the total marks obtained. The marks of the 500th student are taken as the cutoff.
