Course Curriculum Overview

i chose this course out of pure intrest and liking towards the subject, the faculty to students ratio is around 1:30, all of the faculty did their masters in their concerned subjects and some are on their path to pursue a PhD degree, the teaching method varies from teacher to teacher. every exam has around 2-3 weeks between each so its enough time to study and the exams are moderately easy if you study well

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 136500 per year

Internships Opportunities

some of the companies offer intership opportunities like suntek corp which give out a stipend of around 1.5k-3k to eligible students, some of the projects by the 4th yrs were a great success which got them these opportunities

Placement Experience

students are eligible for placement in the 4th year itself and many companies like Accenture and Goldman Sachs made their offers (around 10-15) its around 80% of students getting placed, i plan to go for higher studies after i get my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee structure is a bit pricy as compared to other colleges but is worth the pay because of the job opportunities and the exposure to people you get based on your merit i did not recieve any financial assistance

Campus Life

there are many clubs to join as per intrest of the students, and all the clubs are mostly active, there are very less to no number of fests in our college, ample number of books are available in the library and the sports clubs on campus are very inviting, there is this CSI society run by students for which stands for computer society of india, and nss

Admission

The admission process went smoothly, as the cutoff percentage is not very low, you can find all the details in the mvsrec websitei did not avail any reservations, and the availability of staff could be improved as there are no directions onto where to go to get some paperwork done in the college

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Placement Experience:

Generally, students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for the placements. some, who are interns at a company earns the place to proceed for the rest of life. some others should try harder because they didnt get the internship. It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Actually placements decreased after the recession.

There is no specific reason , the teachers were good and academics are good, proper maintenance all the time . And the college away from the city so there is not much chaos , but most of the people live in city , they feel exhausted .
