faculty: The teacers of computer science branch are good.they are very helpful in assigment work, teachers are very qualifing. cource: i am b tech computer science engneering my college fees 3.84L in my total 4th year,i chose CSE beacause i like codding.

when i arrived college first time looks like this is heaven, very nice campus but old quality . Big libary available here,a bbig paly garden available batmiton coat basketball cricket football coat available mordern class room available,advanced computer class room.BIg auditorium available here .

Hostel Facilities

i am day schooler i dont know hostel quality but i heard that hostel are osm, good food and good envirment . dont ragging here in hostel i heard that. hostel worden are very stick, hostel fees 60k per year, 3\4\6 bed available here.

Those who passed out 10+2 and qualified in the west bengal joint enterns examination or jee(Main) examination in the current year & recommended by central election committee are eligible for adimission

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements. So first talk about the admission procedure : there are two ways to get into this college for btech admission is by JEE and WBJEE entrance exam. Ok taking account of these exam ranks you can take admission into this college and the average rank for CSE branch by WBJEE is under 20-25k.
