Remarks

If u want to do real engineering join this college. The infrastructure is bad. The faculty are very student friendly. The college is about to transform completely. The experience in this college is very good. There is no ragging. The best seniors you can ever get.

Entrance Preview

I wrote kcet to enter this college. There is no interview or anything of that sort here. The course I am doing is mechanical engineering. I was interested in mechanical stuff like robots cars etc so I choose this area.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am very happy with the course I have chosen. There are many workshops conducted to improve your practical learning. There are many research initiatives.

Internships Opportunities

Yes the college provides options for internships. Internshala is tied up with our college, they provide you with internships . There are many industry visit and tie ups. They provide average stipend amounts.

Placement Experience

The best college in terms of placements. No other college can beat Uvce in terms of placements. Almost 80% of students get placed. Most of the core company like abb,royal Enfield,Infosys,Adobe etc visit our college. The average package is around 5 lakhs.

College Events

There are 4 fests every year. 2 technical and 2 non technical fests. They are organised in a big scale like 1000 students visit the fests. It's very well organised and no problem occur.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The best college in terms of fee structure. The total yearly fees is nearly 30 thousand. Hostel fees is like 15 thousand per semester. It's very affordable for all.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college provides scholarship. I don't avail any of those.

Alumni/Alumna

The best alumni network having 3 alumni organisations. Most of the alumni are well settled and help for students development.

Exam Structure

The exams and labs are the best part it's very chilled and they don't tire you much

Most of the faculty are PhD holders and have published many research papers. Many are student friendly. Most of them have a very vast experience in teaching. They are very much interactive.

My plan is to work for 2 years and continue with higher studies and focus in research based area which increases the job security and salary

The Reality of Studying Here

Placement Experience:

from 6th Sem u are eligible to sit for the placement. A lot of companies come to the college i don't focus on company name my focus will be on the CTC and average is 4-5LPA and the highest package was 20LPA. but very less student get placed because they don't have proper technical skill and the one who have skills they are placed in our college. before getting a Degree i need a job from Campus Placement this is my plan after getting Degree let's see I haven't made any plans right now.

The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. Placement Experience:

MVJ college of engineering has a good Placement record, for branches like CS and ECE The Placement activities are handled by Placement Cell, which begins preparing students from 6th semister through aptitude session, communication skills etc They maintain good score like 60% and above academic percentage the students are eligible for placement drive from 6th semister onwards At my time at college some 10 companies visited the campus Highest package from my batch is 5L per Annum Most placement are in roles like developer and Networking side for core branches they get opportunities in design, testing and maintenance roles Overall MVJ provides good placement opportunities

A Bangalore blend of academics , placements and campus life

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . Bold, Beautiful and Brutal shades of UVCE

• I got my seat through KCET exam, so basically in my order priority UVCE was the 5th college and I knew that I'll not get the other 4 colleges because I knew my score, cutoffs of those colleges and my category reservations too well. Why I chose this college was simple, I knew for a fact that it was affordable. • Coming to the rejection part it was never like doorstep rejection it was just the feeling of shit-I-wanted-it. As they say, whatever happens it happens for something good, and now that I see how the colleges I happened to get are charging, I feel good for not getting in. • The admission process began when KEA website announced the 2nd rounds results of KCET and opened the admission portal. We had to pay fees to the KEA portal and generate a payment receipt/challan after that we'd recieve a admission order, then we had to go to the allotted college and show the admission order and go with our attested documents signed sealed and present it and tada admission done....Read More

I got admission in university of visvesvaraya college of engineering bangalore through K-CET in 1st round.
