Campus Environment of AMU is very peaceful.
Faculty members are very cooperative and skillful.
Students especially seniors are very helpful.

Dislikes

Canteen food and Dining hall foods of hostels are unhygienic.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose LLB because because I want to become a judge in future. Faculty members of the department are also very qualified and cooperative. One semester is of six months and one should have a very good knowledge of their subject to pass the examination.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like TrulyWill and SCC online have offered internships opportunities for the position of legal content Writer. Students of AMU are also offered internships in Supreme court of India in their final year. All students of BALLB final year of AMU are given this opportunity.

Placement Experience

Placements in AMU are offered by the Training and Placement Cell of AMU and not by the department. SCC online, Byjus, Amazon, Embibe, TNQ are some of the companies who have hired students from law faculty. Average initial package is approx 4-5 LPA. I am planning to do LLM after BALLB from the same university.

Fees and Financial Aid

One year fees of BA. LLB course in AMU is 7500. Muslim minority scholarship is available for students of weaker section of society which is provided by AMU. I am still studying so I haven't applied for any job yet.

Campus Life

No College fest is conducted. All law books are journals of Indian as well as Foreign authors are available in the library. AC, Projectors, Fans, etc. Sports events and extra curricular activities are conducted in the hostels for law students. amu_lawfaculty is the instagram page run by students of Law faculty,A.M.U.

Admission

Eligibility of the course is that you should have passed 12th class with first division. Application form can be found on the website of AMU. Application fees is around 700 rupees and the test is held usually in the month of April.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As iam a ballb hons student it is a 5 year course we have total 10 semester one semester includes mid term and end terms and internal markings are also there based on teachers choice whether they want presentation or research paper. The subjects are distributed equally and you also get learn a foreign language as a part of summer internship program, we learned german here by the best teacher. The marking criteria of the exam is also good and simple if you are a hardworking student surely you will get 9cgpa and above while others can also manage to get 8-7 cgpa which is good.

So I choose for BBA LLB because I wanted that corporate aspect with law. We are taught nearly every aspect which will or may help us in real world applications or further academic pursuits. Placement Experience:

Law firms l, goverment organisation dealing with legal matters are the ones that comes here for placements. The large corporate houses are yet to be seen and that's something which should change for sure. Once that happens the placements will be as good as anything.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually little low here as our of 111 in 2025, around 35 were placed from campus and rest all has to manage on their own. So placement part out seperate placement cell is required to get this right.

Placement Experience:

Arey our campus internships have been taken care of amazingly but placements still are little slim. Delhi is where most of the students where places with a salary of 40k on and average. Some even less as students were ready to work for 20k as well.

AMU was amazing!!

At AMU seats are fewer and number of students filling the forms are enormous. Hence, the cut-off is always tol high and for BSC in any stream a minimum cut-off is over 80%. In my time it was 83 for Maths Hons and I guess, I was lucky enough to get it....Read More
